  1. Depending on which preset I choose for the clouds I get either 7fps or 20 FPS. Either way it’s a bit of a loss for me also . Hopefully there will be a fix/optimisation settings we can follow to try tweak to the best we can. tried playing with my settings but not too much changes.. i7 8700k 3.2GHz, 1080Ti, 32GB ram.
  2. Hi all, I recently accidentally cleared all my controller and keyboard settings for my F/A-18C, I ended up re coding most of them but now when I’m in F2 external view, I cannot pan around the aircraft using the mouse. I don’t really want to reset my keyboard settings back to default as I’ve already set my keyboard control bindings.. does anyone know what the name of the mouse setting so I can re assign my mouse to this command? Thanks!
  3. Good to hear they’ve talked about making this a feature!
  4. Hi all, Just another item to add to the wish list following today's newsletter update regarding the integration of the 3D briefing room for Supercarrier - The ability to be able to walk around as your pilot to your aircraft on the deck/tarmac and enter/exit your aircraft. This would add a whole more realism to see others especially in multiplayer walking around in and out of their jets. This would look very good in VR in particular. We already have this function (sort of) when once ejected from your aircraft you can walk around. I think this would be a good full integration feature to the sim to up the realism even further. Thanks
  5. I have been wondering if this is still WIP too, I hope ED are still planning on bringing it to not just the Hornet but also F16 and other aircraft that support DTC's Its a function that is a big factor for how these jets operate.
  6. Hi all, As the title states, I think a good wish list item is to have closer AI formations and the ability to setup overhead breaks ect. This would add a lot more realism to the overall experience especially since the current AI formations are very open and wide. This also would hopefully be considered by ED as they have already stated that they are currently working on improving the overall AI behaviours, COMMS and procedures for carriers and airfields. Cheers
  7. Hi all, I’m not sure the correct place to post this, but I would like to suggest one day if the formation of the AI could be improved to fly a lot closer to you as well as let us fly formation off of them more closer it would be a game changer, especially for realistic military flying in the sim. If anyone from ED sees this post it would be greatly appreciated if you consider integrating this idea into improving DCS in the future. Thanks :)
  8. Oh awesome! Would I be able to obtain a copy? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That 3D modelling of the front cockpit looks amazing! Very detailed already and it isn’t even that far into the 3D modelling process. I agree that without the avionics and FM it is hard to make the module, but is there any way we could attempt to make this project of yours come to life? Thanks :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi there fellow simmers, I have come to realize how great of an asset the Pilatus PC-21 is in pilot training and how we as a community should consider the aircraft as a potential module. The role of the PC-21 is to train pilots in Air Forces all around the world to fly, and as well as to prepare them to fly more complex jets such as the F/A-18 Hornet without 'Lead in Fighter' training. The PC-21 is a 2 seat, single engine Turboprop advanced trainer with a top speed of 370kts, and a ceiling of 38,000ft. The aircraft can pull up to +8.0g and -4.0g. The cockpit systems consist of 2 multi-function displays, a PFD and SFD, and EMD (Engine Monitoring Display), and HUD. The PC-21 can also simulate weapon engagement of both A2A and A2G missiles and bombs. My question to you guys out there is: Is there any chance we can push for this to become a module in the not so distant future with the help of the community? Thanks guys :) -Matt
