  1. A whirleybird by Heatblur? Sign me up! You don't mind me asking, where did you see that hinted could you point us in the right direction?
  2. Considering HB have shown to be true trail blazers in expanding the function and features within DCS (some quicker and better implemented than ED itself), I truly hope their next aircraft to be something that pushes the Platform further in as much being a fan favorite for us to fly, like the F14 is to DCS now. I think the A6 is almost a given: similar analog avionics plus multicrew which HB pulled off marvelously in the 14. TBH, I think it's an easy and safe bet to develop. Considering that, my ask for HB's next aircraft is something more risky: The C-130! Any variant will suffice, but I
  3. Sorry to bump from the dead, but with ED stating work on dedicated servers is underway and we could possibly have them this year, will there be any consideration to possibly bring back OC for old times sake!? While still not perfect, DCS sure has come a long ways even from just the mess of 1.5 and the future really does look bright! Personally speaking, OC was the perfect server for any interest, any aircraft, and any experience level! It's where I learned air combat and got my first PvP splash. To this day, my fondest DCS experiences are still from sorties taking place under the cold, gre
  4. Thanks, giving it a try now!
  5. Agreed, made a similar thread about it few days ago. My request is to simply have the option to completely remove it if we choose as it doesnt do much but obscure the screen. I assume most people dont notice it as theyre usually zoomed in trackir/vr, just rough for those of us with neither and use that extra fov due to lack of head movement.
  6. Even when sun visor is unselected in armaments panel, or NVG selected in lieu of SV, it still shows on the upper portion of screen, noticeable once you zoom out to fov limits. Is this a design choice? If so, can we have the option to completely remove it if we hadnt selected the visor to load from the armament panel. Its a bit obstructing depending on fov preference. Thanks!
  7. I'd love a c130, kc135, or il78 in game and think alot of people would buy then as well. What do all those aircraft have in common: they have a tangible place in support roles during combat, they can serve two roles while still expanding DCS' reach to the civ market as well. Its great theyre trying slmething different and standing behind their work, but honestly I wouldve rathered they stepped in another direction. Best of luck with the ce2 though:thumbup:

    Sun Visor

Great work Razbam, have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the harrier so far!! I do have a question though: can the sun visor have an option to be completely removed when not expressly equipped? I'm sure the partial blocking is for immersion and can be a handy feature but being still stuck in 2d and using some upscaling trickery with my monitor, it turns out looking rather unsightly zoomed out in cockpit. Im finding myself using much smaller fov to get around its greyish bar. Id like to be able to enjoy this gorgeous cockpit in its full unobstructed glory lol!!! :):pilotfly:

  10. Looking good! Thanks for the hard work; excited to see how this progresses!!:pilotfly:
  11. Well, I think I deserve it because I've been using a ps4 controller my entire dcs career :p also in my mid twenties starting a business with little breathing room, so this would be a reeeeaaally nice Christmas gift and a nice break from a lot of stress. Thx :)
  12. Yeeesssss!! This can be a perfect avenue to begin fleshing out more support roles in DCS, which technically, is a big part of "Combat", and one area I think is quite overlooked by DCS as a combat platform. Plus, the 53E is a great analog to our in game mi8, albeit without direct action capability. Overall, i think investing into the logistics and support systems that would make the stallion fun to fly and challenging in game could go a long ways towards opening up alot of different aircraft types that aren't necessarily fast movers, which can attract a broader audience of people into DCS a
  13. Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the update! Wish you all the best, and hope to see your guys' creations in game in the future!!
  14. Any updates on this project? Would love to see some modern support craft in dcs!
  15. Agreed. And personally, many people are forgetting one of, if not the most important, part of any sustained combat is logistics. If you can't get your assets on station to project whatever fast fighters/choppers or ground units in a meaningful way then you can't fight a war, period. While this isn't exactly topical to adding civilian aircraft to DCS, I do think that fleshing out transport/support assets in game would be a far better focus than jumping straight into the civ side of flying. We still have yet to fly manned aerial refueling, equipment+man paradrops, or tackle the materials and
