  1. Hello, I saw some users at youtube who said they had created target points in the mission editor. So I'm able to create initial points in the ME and I can find them on the abris, but is it true that it's also possible to create them as target points for the PVI and if yes how?
  2. Will this marks also be visible on some hsi's (e.g. Hornet) or in the apaches tsd? And / or in the kneeboard map's?
  3. Many HARMS which has been launched from AI Tornados does not hit their targets. Only a few hits in "SP/TOO mode?". AI_Harms.trk [Edit] Maybe the units turned off their radar so I guess it's corect as is.
  4. No HSI map since 2 or 3 patches... Priority for bug fixes seems to be very low at the moment
  5. Hi I thought about this and for me it's not "correct as is" Ground stabilisation is for the MAV page but I don't change the target with TDC@MAV page. Or is it also a feature of the TGP? Becasue I guess when I'm in area track mode on the TGP, it's always "ground stabilised". I'm talking about changing the target with the TGP first and then switching the TDC to the MAV Page. Sometimes, the MAV will try to lock the target which is focused by the TGP as expected (because it's slaved to the TGP), but sometimes it's not and it keeps it's old target (Bug?). Which behaviour is correct here in which case? Thank you!
  6. Thanks BIGNEWY for that hint! I tried it that way but I can reproduce the bug with this procedure as well, see attached track file "mav_lock_2.trk" @ 8:00:59. mav_lock_2.trk
  7. When I press the FOV button on the MAV page, the FOV sometimes does not change (Can be seen at the end of attached track file) mav_fov_not_working.trk
  8. Can ED please increase the priority of fixing bugs for the Hornet? There are still to many bugs in this great product from my point of view and in many missions I'm flying I notice some bugs wich is a satisfaction damper to me. Please don't give up to increase the quality of this product some meters before the finish line after so many years of developement! Thank you!
  9. By pressing TDC depress I expect that a new designation point will be created if the TGP is SOI. But sometimes it jumps back to the point which has been designated before by pressing TDC depress (See trackfile @8:02:00) tgp_jumptrk.trk
  10. After the designated point has been changed by the tgp, I expect that by switching TDC to the mav page, that mav will try tp lock onto the designated point. Sometimes this works but somtimes not (See attached track file @08:02:52) mav_lock.trk
  11. Sometimes, the maverick does not looks exactly on the designated point by switching TDC from TGP to the MAV page (See track at 08:01:49) mav_lock.trk [edit] I guess I know what the problem is: It seems that the position of the Maverick under the wing is not taken into account. If the mav under the left outer station is selected, it looks to far to the left of the target If the mav under the right outer station is selected, it looks to far to the right of the target:
  12. Steps to reproduce (see gun5.trk): - Open the trackfile and take controll - Turn on A/G modein the store page - Ativate JDAM - Deactivate JDAM - Activate GUN - Note that gun impact are way to high over the crosshair (Crosshair seems to be not calculated corectly anymore) gun5.trk [edit] For me it looks like the terrain elevation will not be considered anymore after activation of the JDAM. I added another track file "terrain_elevation_test.trk". Note that at "Sea Level" the pipper seems to be corect but in the mountains not. terrain_elevation_test.trk [Edit] I mentioned JDAM not JSOW
  13. I can confirm this bug, I also reported it allready here. I don't know if it's a SC or a Hornet bug:
  14. Ok I haven't known that it's track up orientated. I guess this should be the case in flight but not on the deck and it switches to be "heading orientated" on the deck because you don't want to know the direction where the carrier is moving to when you are moving on the deck. So the behaviour makes sence.
  15. Hello, all the time when I watch a playback with the F/A-18 starting where I started from the carrier (catapult launch) and landed on it, it seems that the carrier is shifting to starboard in the replay. In the attached replay I landed on the centerline of the carrier deck, but in the replay I missed the carrier. Steps to reproduce: - Do a catapult launch from the super carrier - Land on it - Watch the replay Observed behaviour: - Carrier has missed during landing, aircraft is splashing Expected behaviour: - Aircraft lands on the carrier deck as in gameplay test.trk
  16. Steps to reproduce: - Activate TACAN before catapult launch - Enter for the TACAN course the heading of the aircraft (214°) - Note that there is a straight line in the HSI as expected - Activate the catapult launch - As soon as the aircraft moves, press pause Observed behaviour - Note that the line is not straight anymore, even if the heading of the aircraft has not changed? HSI_CRS_HEADING.trk
  17. I have very huge FPS drop down on the new Marianas Map in VR, is it normal?
  18. I realy feel ripped of. Look what Jak525 wrote in the previous bug report: There was no comment from your site how the expected behaviour will be. And previously, this has worked as expected with the TDC cursor but not anymore since the last patch. The only point missed was that pushing the button by clicking it with the mouse has not worked. That was the intention of this bug report. If I had known the way you fix it before, I wouldn't have created a bug report. So you are sure that there is no way to make the TGP SOI as long as a target is locked in ACM without losing the lock? Sorry, I don't belive that.
  19. Previous bug report has not been fixed as descriped in the change log. By pressing PB7 to exit ACM now, (or by using the tdc), the target will just be unlocked and it's possible to exit ACM by pressing the button once more, but then the lock will be lost. To unlock a target, the undesignate button is allready available. But as discussed in the previous bug report, the lock should be keept in STT but ACM mode should exit to enable the pilot to get back HOTAS controlls to make the TGP SOI for example. ACM_Exit_II.trk
  20. After engine shutdown I noticed that the AIM-9M wheel has contact to the extended flaps:
  21. Sometimes, the radar zone is limited to 20° after switching from gun to amram. Steps to reproduce: - Press "Select Gun" - Press "Select Amram" (when the radar line is not moving? Or when it's at the centerline?) I cannot exactly determine when it happens. But when I try it somtimes it will happen somtimes but not always... Expected: Radar horizontal scan zone is set to the value it had before (140° for the trackfile): Observed: Radar horizontal scan zone is 20° gun_amram.trk
  22. Yes I know, but it's the same thing for me, first post was "I guess it makes no sence if I can activate ACM mode in SIL mode. " And then the answer would be b) It's possible to deactivate SIL mode (temporarly) in ACM mode somehow (I just don't know how) And maybe it makes sence this way... I don't know the solution of this contradiction, that's EDs job to find it out or to explain it
  23. Thought more about it... My guess is as follows: In SIL mode, you have to press TDC Depress, and the radar will do a single pattern for the active ACM mode and try to lock a target. Or radar is just on as long as you press TDC Depress But thats just my expectation.
