  1. @spaceBunny oh geez just seen this thread. I’m not sure if you read through the above posts before yours but @baltic_dragon was able to find and help with a workaround and even made a separate download to replace the mission if you didn’t want to switch the radio channel yourself at start. I'd say that’s fixed 100% I get things like this can be frustrating especially in longer missions. Hell when things go sideways I’m always left scratching my head wondering if it was something I did wrong or if it is a bug. It sucks for folk like you and I who pay and play the missions but it’s actually probably even more frustrating for the fine folks like Baltic creating the content for us. And honestly Baltic is probably one of the best out there in trying to keep everything up to date and is always updating his campaigns with fixes for us when new DCS updates and features breaks his stuff. I’m not sure how long you’ve been playing DCS but it’s an an ever evolving game. How the system sorta works is that Eagle Dynamics is the one who pushes out the updates for DCS which is usually once every two weeks. The content creators like Baltic or other third party module creators submit their fixes to ED and then it’s up to ED to implement it in their next patch cycle. And sadly every patch will fix some things but break others it’s kind of a whack a mole scenario. I don’t think we will ever see a DCS world without a plethora of bugs and issues as it’s just sort of the nature of how DCS is built with constantly new additions of features and modules. It’s basically a perpetual state of “early access”. I’m excited where things will go but if you are looking for a game that is “complete” DCS sadly may not ever be it Hopefully you can take a look at the fix (if you need help send me a message) or just wait for ED to unbreak some stuff. The campaign is truly worth it and will teach the hell out of the a-10 for you. I hope it was just a misunderstanding on your part on how the patch cycles works for DCS. Baltic definitely did not deserve the rudeness, but I can see where the frustration is.
  2. Okay thank you so much! Was looking at using the fire tab as an option. Is 7" a decent size to work with the UI in the app?
  3. Excuse my ignorance here but I was wondering if there is recommend spec of tablet to use for this app, as I’m unsure if certain tablets run it better than others? My day to day tablet that I use is an iPad so I’m looking to get an android tablet that will be basically dedicated solely to this UFC app so the cheaper the better. The only specs I can see on the app is android 4.1 and above.
  4. Voice attack is recognizing the command as shown below. Just zero response in game.
  5. Did you just deselect it from the config menu? Or did you have to do some more steps on top of this?
  6. Has there been any solutions found at all?
  7. Does not seem to be recognizing any "Link Host" commands either
  8. Well just tried TACAN tune as well, and discovered this is also giving me the same issue. Both TACAN and Link Tune commands do not seem to function within DCS yet show as recognized in Voice Attack. Though other AIRIO commands such as Radio Tune and Scan Sector commands seem to work just fine as well as all the other VAICOM commands. I'll attach a another screenshot as well.
  9. I have been having the same issues and under the same/similar scenarios as listed above. I have tried to reproduce the issue in single player but have had no crashes at all. If more tack files and logs are needed I can try to reproduce in hoggit again but looks like there’s been plenty enough.
  10. All other commands seem to work fine from what I can tell. Just previous I requested as Scan Range change. Have also tried this the sel/auto TX as well
  11. Did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the same issue currently
  12. Well I’ll be dammed should of just checked to see if it was a sub forum. Just came to this thread as it was what was linked in the manual for support.
  13. Is the Data Link "Link Tune" Command working right now for everyone? It seems to be recognized in VoiceAttack but Jester does not respond or change the DL
  14. Has anyone gotten this to work on a Amazon Fire 7 after getting the google store working? I only have an iPad but this app looks amazing. I fee may be worth it if I can find a cheap enough tablet
  15. I’ve been getting into some rotary stuff but mostly the Ka-50 and the mi-8. But did get the Huey from my brother for Christmas, been wanting to learn the thing. And when the Kiowa FINALLY comes out I’m pretty sure that’s going to become basically my go to module
  16. Hey Doom, I’m out in Edmonton. Not sure if you are still looking as this is a pretty old post but if so send me off a message on here or Discord Tye | WompRat#2280. Would be fun to rep some RCAF Liveries sometime on MP. I’m usually out flying on the Hoggit severs. Happy Flying, Tye P.s. as long as you’re not a Flames fan
  17. Thanks for the reply! I'll definitely take a look, I'll try to get some flight time in DCS first.
  18. Been wanting to pull out the o'l hotas and rudder pedals here for awhile. I've dabbled in a few sims here and there but have yet to become an ace or anything rather close; I'm kinda more around the safe landings without gear failures/anything else catastrophic 80% of the time kinda skill level. Would love to actually take some time and get proficient with a specific aircraft. I am pretty open to flying whatever as I currently have outside the freebie SU-25T the FC3 module, and the A-10c. I have also been eyeing up the Mirage 2000 something fierce. I am not super interested in joining a virtual squadron as my work and outside commitments can kinda be all over the place. Basically looking for a friend or two that is either learning themselves or is an experienced vet looking to train up a wingman. I am in the GMT-7 timezone area mostly playing late evenings/night. Will be looking through the forums here to see if I can find any like minded folk, but figured I'd throw up my own thread cause you never know. Happy flights and safe landings!
