  1. Are you saying that shaders have to be created every time we join a server the first time? If we exit the game, or reboot, and join a server those shaders are again created? Or are you just talking about after an update to the game?
  2. That would be a good handle. Someday I might change my handle to Bucko. :tomato:
  3. With my Triple-Screen (nVidia Surround) monitors, I also have a touchscreen plugged into my MB's on-board Intel HDMI port. So, I just made the touchscreen my primary monitor in Windows and ran the game on that. I connected to both Buddy Spike and 104th Plane Selection screens fairly quickly. Maybe it took 2 minutes to get there. Which was good. But on both I got 1-2 fps, even after I selected a plane and got into the cockpit. After a few minutes it went up to 10fps. (which may be normal since the onboard Intel card is crappy, and I had game settings very high for my 1080ti). IDK.. So, I made my nVidia Surround the Primary monitor again and tried connecting to both of these servers again. On the 104th, with 55/57 players and a ping of 963 it loaded to the Plane Selection in about 2 mins. The fps was 1-2. I selected a plane, and got into the game, but the fps was still 1-2 and it didn't draw the cockpit until 5 minutes later, then the fps went up to 67. On the Blue Flag the ping was 939 with 46/55 players. The mission loaded in about 1-2 minutes. The fps were slow for only about 2 minutes. By the time I had selected my aircraft fps was 60 and I got into the game great, with no problems. So, this is just weird.. Wish it could be fixed.
  4. I have a triple screen setup. My specs are in my sig. I also have an x55 joystick and throttle, Rift, wireless keyboard and mouse, ch pedals, bell collective, logitech and xbox game controllers, trackir, SimShaker. Not sure how to get the ipv4 ipv6 info. My Windows Network profile page says this: IPv4 address: 192.168.x.x IPv4 DSN servers: x.x.x.x, x.x.x.x Attached are my last two logs. I just tried to join Blue Flag and per usual, it took 8 minutes to get to the Plane Selection screen. I was then getting 1-2 fps. After about 1 minute it kicked me back to the main menu. So, I exited, and as usual, the game crashes every time I exit(this has been happening for 6+ months on stock, alpha, and beta.). EDIT: In my Ethernet Properties window, it has both these checked: Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  5. Oh wow, I didn't know about that. Just tested it, and there are no buildings after this patch..
  6. With the KB Builder, after you resize and reposition it, and save it(top/left save button).. You have to then select it. Select it to apply it to the game by using the icon in the SysTray.
  7. 2018-03-15 Hotfix with SF copy-protection issue. 22.6gb to fix a Starforce issue? Updater said it was Downloading 22688MBytes, and after that it started Torrenting 550MBytes. I'm just curious if this has more in it than just Starforce fixes? EDIT: After I ran the updater, I then ran the game. And it updated again..
  8. Rebuilding the Shaders fixed the bright lime green trees for me. Might also help your fps. Rename these Saved Games/DCS folders: Metashaders Fxo Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  9. I also have run 3 monitors in nVidia Surround for years. When I updated my beta to 2.5 I started noticing freezes and crashes as you say.. about 20-30 minutes into a flight. After trying everything, I installed a fresh copy of the 2.5 beta, and those freezes and crashes went away. Now I only have the Multiplayer issue of extremely slow framerates while trying to get on to some servers. It seems to mostly be high ping servers, or servers with a high player count. Not sure..
  10. :no_sad: Then why does Zeus's example have 1 drop of all 4 bombs? I have it setup correctly. As they had said in previous posts, the INTV is not functional yet.
  11. Does INTV (Interval) work on the ACP? I was trying to carpet bomb a runway and they only all drop together. Someone posted that the INTV on the ACP was not functional. But I don't see that in the list..
  12. I don't know. He did a great job with this app, but it badly needs error handling code. All apps should have that to avoid or identify the causes of crashes. I don't see any problems with your settings. What does your 'Saved Games' file structure look like? You could try renaming Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Data to 'Data Backup' and then run the app and see if it builds a new folder? There might be something in there causing problems. Have you tried installing a fresh copy into a different folder? Are you using version 1.7.0.1? Did you install the .Net Framework 4.5 or higher? Other than these things it's hard to diagnose.
  13. Thanks for the info. So am I setting it up correctly? I was thinking that the Interval might be wrong. Maybe I didn't understand it.. Because why does it have 3 digits? Who's going to drop anything 100 x10(1000) feet apart? Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  14. What am I doing wrong? I am trying to drop a line of bombs down the runway one at a pulse every 60 feet. As you can see they are all clustered together. I had 4 stations with 3x Mk82 = 12 bombs. If I understand this correctly, I have it set to drop 12 pulses, with 1 bomb each, every 6x10(60) feet? :joystick:
  15. I need to test this with simpler missions I guess. I finally installed a fresh 2.5 Beta. I had tried a full startup mission to do CCRP last week online and got a game freeze right before I was supposed to drop. Annoying. So today, after the new install, I tested it again, and got kicked right before the drop! The new Beta 2.5 seems to have fixed the game crashes. I don't crash to desktop during gameplay, and I don't think I have had any freezes. It still crashes every time I Exit. And Online Servers are still too slow. So, I tried the CCRP once again and once again as I was 30 secs from drop I get kicked off the server to the game's Main Menu!! ARGG!! The log had something about "AV8B_CPT: ARBS cannot find the ground" about 10 times before it kickeded me. Here's part of it... 2018-03-02 16:03:07.426 INFO AV8B_CPT: ARBS cannot find the ground 2018-03-02 16:03:40.608 WARNING LOG: 2559 duplicate message(s) skipped. 2018-03-02 16:03:40.608 INFO NET: disconnected: 5 Server ping timeout 2018-03-02 16:03:43.341 INFO Config: netview stopped 2018-03-02 16:03:43.371 INFO TERRAIN: lSystem::CleanScenes() 2018-03-02 16:03:43.371 INFO NET: messages tracked: 848361 2018-03-02 16:03:43.626 ERROR_ONCE DX11BACKEND: rendertarget 'HeatAir' not found 2018-03-02 16:03:43.635 INFO EDCORE: (dDispatcher)enterToState_:3 2018-03-02 16:03:43.766 INFO NET: disconnected from server 2018-03-02 16:03:43.785 INFO NET: client has stopped
  16. Good point. I had not thought of that, but on my x55 the switches are labeled Tgl 1, 2, 3, .. A, B C.. which I just ignore. I also would prefer this type of generic labeling. I think to associate the switches with the control panel software they would want some identification. But I get your point.
  17. Can you post your KneeboardBuilder.exe.Config file? Not sure if this helps, but here's mine. You can see the differences, but I think the important part is the <appSettings>. Both of these work. I never had to delete those terrain folders, so I don't know about that issue. Stock Game: Beta:
  18. Yes, I have 64gigs and have the same problem. It's complicated, and not just a problem of filling you all of your memory. If other used memory is accidentally overwritten anything could happen.
  19. Here are my files if you want to try and figure them out. I'm not sure how much you know about viewports... Many planes viewports use the same name (LEFT_MFCD; RIGHT_MFCD). So you cannot have them in the one MonitorSetup .lua file because their x;y;width;height coordinates would get confused. They need separate lua files. So, I have a mod to rename some of the viewports to give them unique names. These names are used in the enclosed MonitorSetup .lua files. So, if you use this jsgme mod, those names will work in a MonitorSetup .lua file that you create. The FC3 aircraft cannot be modded(afaik) so they all use the standard xx_MFCD. But my mod(most of which came from PeterP's mods) give unique names to several aircraft. There is enough there to figure out many planes if you know how this works. Hope this helps.:D Export - All Viewports.rar
  20. The Shkval is for missiles. Looks like you are dropping dumb bombs? Did you pick your weapons? Or are you doing CCRP? Maybe this will help? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/510839/
  21. It sounds like I'm the only one with a bucket racing seat, and that is one of my questions.. If I can make it easily detachable it would not be a problem. Otherwise, I don't know.. I am curious how often any of you put your left hand on the stick so you can use your mouse? I know your HOTAS should have all of the most used buttons, so maybe it is not that often. I think most users don't have the expensive sticks with all of those 4 and 5-way hats. Even so, you need to flip some switches or OSB buttons. Since I have an x55 on my right side which works well, I guess I am leaning towards a center extended stick so I can have both. I want to get a VBK Gunfigher Modern Combat Pro when they become available again. I see that they have extension kits? So if I get the normal one, and also buy the extension kit, I can have a choice. BTW, here is my pit too. This is an old pic. I have the x55 now, and also a Bell Collective.
  22. I have always had my joystick located on the right side. I've had a Volair Sim pit for several years now and it has a racing seat, which is a bit difficult to get out of. What are the Pros and Cons of putting the joystick in the center??? :joystick: Here's what I've been thinking: Con: I think if I were to put the stick in the center, between my legs, it would be too difficult getting out of the seat. This seems like a big Con, but I could have it be detachable? Do you guys do that? Or if the stick is mounted low, and had a long neck it could be pushed forward to get out of the seat? I don't know if that would work.. Pro: I could handle the joystick with either hand. Leaving my Right hand more available to use the mouse in the clickable cockpit. This seems like a good Pro. I am thinking of getting a VBK joystick or some other stick soon, and have been thinking about this more. I usually have to use Autopilot before can start using the mouse. So I am trying to thing of some solutions. I also thought maybe using a Trackball on the left side might help, but I have a feeling it would be clumsy. What do you guys think? :helpsmilie:
  23. F2 used to only cycle through players aircraft. But on the Ravens server I noticed that it is cycling through a ton of static unflyable aircraft just parked in the parking areas. Is this a new feature, or a bug? I don't really like looking at 50 static aircraft as I cycle through..
  24. Yes somethings wrong if the Orders listing doesn't show All of your orders. [emoji852]️ Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
