  2. I' m now at mission 6. I failed twice mission 5 (was destroyed by a Sam, and then air-to-air missile). Mission 5 was difficult for me. A night Sweep with high level defenses. I went on with mission #6 cause Red Flag exercise won't stop just for me to get by. Mission 6 is a B-1 flight escort, daytime. Very intense too. I love the ambiance. There are so many planes around, lot of radio chat. I lost sight of the bombers when they went low. I fired 5 amraam at distant contacts (Mig 23 mostly according to Nctr) and they all missed. According to Tacview, for 2 of them, there were no enemies targeted... Weird. Anyway, a good time above the Nellis range. Will try again mission 6. Thanks to the authors. Very good work ! PS : btw, Pontiac 1 landed at Tonopah before bombing its target. Maybe the recent addition of new airfields gives strange behaviour of some AI aircrafts from this older campaign..   3. I didn't wait for clearance and landed 21R, and touched at the runway's end, ok. But to find out some jerky AI falcon drivers are ahead taxiing all the way to the south end of the runway. Trying to avoid them, I skidded out on the right and exploded. That was nice anyway ! About dumb AI, on mission 6, one of the B-1 (Pontiac 1) decided to land at Tonopah, just after the fence in , while Pontiac 2 and 3 made their way to their targets. Pontiac 3 was hit by an Atoll but went on , until those two B-1s disappear on the Northeast corner of the range. So when the mission ended, I was awarded a fail. The Tonopah landing was really weird on the part of a Blue force bomber. Gnouze
  4. Same here with an F-15 eagle. I changed keys layout to allocate "RWR mode change" to Left Shift +R , instead of the previous "mission restart". And it gives me a black screen with a small window requiring Nevada Reactivation. Weird. Keyboard layout is locked that way I think...
  5. From now on, i play the missions individually by locating the miz files. That allows to me to go the next mission even when I fail. Red flag in real life won't redo the mission when the blue forces fail. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Because I've been playing flight sims for twenty five years now and never won a MP fight against a worthy opponent.   11. Anyway, that's true that in the DCS F-86, it takes a lot of hits to bring gown a Mig15. More than a lot. I will check if in Korea the Sabre pilots had so much difficulty by reading again " Sabres over Mig Alley" Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

  16. [RESOLVED]Traffic Jam in Mission 03 Hi What I do is to ask for start up, then ask straightaway for taxi. No ATC answer. Then request takeoff. I start taxiin a bit. Abort takeoff towards ATC, then request again takeoff. And then the whole flight starts taxiing behind me. That's tricky but works, usually. I get the ATC clearances later.   19. I'd like to fly IFR more often in DCS but the F-15 ILS is just inoperable in flight. Every bank throws instantly the CDI away. It's really a bug. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
  20. Hello all I tried Mission 5 which is quite hard. Between not entering Area 51 , at night, and having Colt and Uzi flights succeed in their Wild Weasel missions.... Anyway, I failed and after that, Campaign menu offered me to fly Mission 4.... Same if I leave the game, launch it again, and launch the campaign. I'm back to Msn #4. :cry:
  21. It was okay on mission 5. Maybe the trick is to ask for start up, then for taxi. Don't wait for the answer, move the jet. Then "abort takeoff" and just after "request takeoff". And you hear the wingmen call "rolling".
  22. I managed, i don't know how to get my wingmen to follow me. Maybe by waiting a bit before resquesting taxi , that other F-15 in front start to roll..
