Hi all Some say you should put the additional liveries in the ‘main game folder’, under Coremods’ etc... while others say you should put them in the Saved Games folder, etc... Lastly some use Jgsme. Who’s right ? Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

[OUT OF SCOPE] Jedi Transition
gnouze replied to zK_RazOR's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
Yes Jedi transition is in the game but not detailed enough (mesh). See my quickly made video Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk -
I just listened yesterday to an F-35 pilot interview. He said that no fighter pilot, ever, (F-35 but also 4th gen legacy fighters) would want to bring the fight WVR, to the merge. Both in combat and in exercices like Red Flag. Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Mission F-5E Mission - Hercules, what are we supposed to do?
gnouze replied to Redglyph's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi I just flew this mission yesterday in 2.5.1 and i succeded even though others did kill the c-130 while it was still far away from me , i guess (just after i turned to heading 022). I just flew more or less along the awacs and its escorting F-5, following the flight plan indicated in the briefing, and came home. So ‘mission sucess’ yes, but no kill, no fun. TrackIR not as smooth in 2.5 as 2.2 and 1.5.8
gnouze replied to Jacks's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Yes the Track IR freezes, from time to time. Off the game, on the desktop, the TIR is smooth in every position. I need to try by deactivating all softs that are useless Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk -
Hi I tested only NTTR on the Tiger II. With deferred shading on, it’s unplayable (too low fps and many stutters). Def Shading Off, it’s ok. Rather fluid with occasionnaly some freeze/stutter. Particularly if i raise or move my head big time with my TIR. Gnouze I5-7600K, GTX960, UHD monitor Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Hi all I’m in France (Europe time) and i fly the F-15, F-5 and less often the F-86 (been some time), clearly offline. I’ve never really flow multi, except sometimes on the free servers where i went there and chose a side and took off in a kind of ‘ aerial mayham’ until downed by someone. I don’t have a headset with mike but can get one. I’d like to find some people (3-5 people) like me, wanting to have fun in formation flight, BFM (with or without shooting), even ACM. Not on a regular basis. We could arrange flights on some evenings by messages through Whatsapp, FB msgs, or emails. Please tell me if that would interest you. Any comment welcome. NTTR info and mission by the 476
gnouze replied to Stuka's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
Yes ‘no name’ is called by Google maps ‘Chalk mountain’, west of Bald Mt and east of Belted Range Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk -
Yeah, good luck and keep up the good work ! Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

On mission 5 : Texas Lake is mentionned about Chevy 1 Cap, which is wrong. (Same in mission 3 and 4 as cited by others above). Should be Coal Valley. And still some mismatch of a few minutes on Push Time in the différent docs (brief, card and map) Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

Hi Petchyboy. Same here about the timing. SEAD (Colt flight) are well behind me and I'm assaulted by the SA6. Uzi is loitering east and I was hit before they pushed. You can have a look at the Tacview ACMI replay. Here is the link for the file (50 Mo) : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jFjk9BQwzLZKpApp6zdApf8PVb6jNraW Gnouze

I fully agree. But still, I can't but fail the Mission 5. One can watch my ACMI file (see below). Why those SA6 are still alive ? I arrive before the SEAD ; am I pushing too early ? I pushed at 3:54 (WP7) ; doc says push at 3:48 or 3:52 (depending on the document). The ACMI file shows I'm well ahead of everyone. The doc says : "The strikers will marshal in Caliente Bravo, and they’ll stack north of our marshal point. We are not tied to them (this is a sweep mission), however it is worth studying the mission map and noting that they all have TOTs from 0354Z onwards." Anyway. It was fun even If was blown away. Have a good replay. Here is the link for the file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jFjk9BQwzLZKpApp6zdApf8PVb6jNraW Gnouze

** F-14 Road to Release + Christmas Update!! **
gnouze replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Great news. I’m just worried by the amount of HD interior detail (seat cushions...). That may be something visual you can show but the weapons system, radar and other systems , and exterior textures is what’s important to many of us. Plus i’d like to know if my 980GT will handle this level of textures. Anyway, keep up the good work. But don’t forget real sim life objectives. Gnouze Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk -
It seems that the gamma slider is available only when deferred shading is on. Is that the same for you ? It then causes a immense drop in fps. Gnouze Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Agree. See for example Groom lake here Or Texas lake here in the distance Rachel lake on the right of this pic Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Hi all The color should be more brownish, I agree. Go and see my photos from a real flight along NTTR, above Rachel, Student gap, Worthington ridge, etc. This was in march. I don’t know if it gets lighter, sandy color, in summer. Gnouze Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

If i may recommend you an article of mine https://theaviationist.com/2017/04/03/red-flags-air-combat-maneuvering-as-seen-from-the-nevada-desert/ Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

The dark color is usually from the density of bushes which may be more intense in spring. Coyote Summit pictures show a lighter color, though. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

Here is the link for the kmz file https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByuP68tF1-GuUDBhRkNIYXRkMW8 That should help you locating each pic (opening it with Google Earth offering an identical point of view, and not with Google Maps because it will give you just the location of the photo center)

Hi :) Here is a photo album from a flight I did recently over Nevada, along the NTTR (Alamo, Rachel), with view of Groom Lake, Bald Mountain, Belted Peak, Worthington, Student Gap,... In the end of the album is the flight track over the sectional. In the album title and description is a link to a kmz file for Google Earth viewing of every pic location. https://flic.kr/s/aHskTn7MjP Best regards Gnouze

I agree, it's too wide. I hit "enter" key on Numpad and I get a better FOV.

Good event , it seems. But why you all got only the right flap extended ? Weird . Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk

Will you fly the Hornet mod, which is only an external model mod ? Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk
