  1. Only thing i can say is, it was money is well spent! Voice attack & Vaicom including all modules! Almost never have to use F keys to zift through radio menu’s again and give commands to jester. and above all, it’s way more immersive to use speech recognition to use radio! Vaicom creator Hollywood_315 has a solid reason to ask a imo fair price for his work on this.
  2. i would really also like to see these kind of "Strike or Deep strike" missions, bomb strategic assets that Kraszus mentioned. - compound with targets - weapon factories - munition/fuel depots
  3. neither do I. I don't hate it, but I'm not really convinced either. but if real A-10 pilots say that is wat you hear inside a cockpit with a helmet on when you let that GAU-8 / A Avenger rip then i'll guess i wil have to learn to love it or get used to it?
  4. Yes it really is. Anyhting but creditcard; Internet banking (ideal) Paypal Applepay, thought this was an option but it keeps asking to add a creditcard to my wallet?!
  5. THE button box i was REALLY! looking for, but only creditcard paymant as far as i can see on kickstarter so sadly i can’t back this project
  6. nice, i'm very interested!! If the keys are going to be embossed i'm in!!!
  7. Vaicom is the way to go with using voice attack for DCS, there isn’t a better voice attack profile for DCS! Vaicom pro is very wel; • supported (updates & future content) • integrated with DCS & SRS • documented (install & use guide) All radio’s (including f10 multiplayer mission menu’s) are really 100% controlled by your voice and a press of the PTT button on your HOTAS like IRL! No fumbling with F keys to dig in the radio menu any more. And you can even include existing VA profiles into his profile, so if you created one yourself you can add/integrate the whole profile to the Vaicom profile. And above that, if you have the F14B Tomcat then the AIRO Add on is a must for a menu and hands free chat with your RIO Jester..... in fact if you have the F14B Tomcat, i suggest to just buy the “PROMOTION BUNDLE” for just €14,95 and have the whole package! • PRO plugin license • Chatter extension (pure for immersion) • AIRIO extension its worth every penny! And if you have problems Hollywood_315 (creator) is a very nice & helpfull guy and very active on the support thread here on the forum itself. Once you get the hang of it, you couldn’t do without it!
  8. Wel $24,99 (discount) wel spent, imo! My thoughts are that you don’t shake this out of your sleeve like that, with the animations alone people are putting some hard work in this to make it happen. And money has to be earned, and above that it think this is a great step towards making the DCS world a bit more alive. Imagine military crew at the airfields etc. etc. I’ll buy it without a doubt and enjoy it like all the other modules with flaws, bugs, early acces & glitches and all.
  9. i tried to import the F10 menu from the Throug the inferno mission, but i can't get it to work ? i have; -ticked the ''import f10 menu" in the configuration window -flown the mission (manually used F keys to start some missions) and folowed these steps; • [PRO] Import F10 Menu: adds mission F10 (Other) menu items to the keywords database. Enable this option and fly the mission: items are added as new keywords starting with ‘Action’. Go to the Keywords Editor and follow the FINISH steps to update the VA profile to use the new voice commands: using an imported keyword will execute the menu item command. but my database ends up with same amount of keywords?
  10. Of course no problem here they are, and any feedback or suggestions are always welcome on my settings to make it better!
  11. I play on 3440x1440 on 100Hz with Gsync, my FPS goes from 40 (dense/populated area’s) to a solid 90 in most places on 1 Asus Strix GTX 1080i OC (Sli sadly isn’t supported in DCS) My spec’s are in my sig
  12. i tried both of these but sadly still no real time is injected, the time is not really a big deal, i can use the the time given in cmd log to put it in the mission editor. thanks for helping and your time Johnny_Rico & Maverick87Shaka
  13. Depends on where the ship is hit or how good the watertight compartments hold after damage? Or like the costa concordia shallows play a big part aswel. On the picture it seems that the back compartments are flooded and the front compartments are still air tight and keep the ships front buoyancy. Just like the titanic front compartment where flooded but due failing tructural integrity the ship breaks somewhere midship and there goes the rest of it to the cellar. Other wise it wil still be floating for a wile with her stern up in the air. And i don’t know how Eagle dynamics damage model is on ships? But the picture looks pretty realistic to me. You could assume that if you can see a part of the ship bottom of the hull, she done for.
  14. i tried before, and now again and what you say is true, it doesn't like spaces in file names. but still the weather and date is injected perfectly, only the time doesn't. but thanks anyways for your input on the matter Maverick87Shaka
  15. yes it does say when i close Notepad++ "This file has been modified by another program. Do you want to reload it?" but i already assumed that the file is being updated by the py file, because the weather & the date are being updated, but the real time doesn't? i did everything (except reading the installation manual very carefully at the beginning :music_whistling:) by the book and did not alter any text in the py file and weather.bat? i'm going to redownload a fresh start and i'll begin from step 1 again, maybe i leaned on a wrong key or something? EDIT i compared the dcs_weather.py & weather.bat with fresh downloaded original files with the notepad++ compare plugin, and everything is oke (only the lines that need to be changed are changed). so no corrupted .py and .bat due to typo's or something!?
  16. Thank you for helping me out here Johnny_Rico! I set the permission on C:\ Drive and the "Access is denied" seems to be cleared, but it still won't inject the proper mission time into the .miz file? the weather & date on the other hand is perfectly injected into .miz file dcs_weather.py weather.bat Most Recent CMD log Mission editor Date & Time Mission editor Weather
  17. Thank you for the quick reply, and sorry for bothering you again. but I followed your instructions but i'm stil not able to inject real time into the .miz file and apparently i'm doing something wrong here, can you help me out once again? dcs_weather.py weather.bat CMD Log
  18. I had the same problem, In my case it was the brakes and they need to be reversed in axis tune because they where activated all the time, i don’t know why but it seems my rudder pedal brake axis are wrongly calibrated.
  19. I think this now integrated into Mission Editor with 2.5.2.19157 Update 6
  20. I’ll wil try this asap, Thanks for the quick reply! [PROBLEM SOLVED] oke i "pip install request" worked, i had to be specific in CMD "C:\Users\tommy\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python37-32\Scripts>pip install requests" wich makes sense. but i can't/don't know how to set real time or any other time? where exactly do i have to do this? i get the following message in CMD window;
  21. Thanks i really love to read some insights from real pilot’s on DCS modules. Thank you for this, i was scrolling through bit pages to see why this would still lit up on the DDI. And should you take off from carrier with anti skid on also shown as ADV?
  22. First i really wasn’t into flight sims, a friend pulled me over and i tried to do it with a gamepad, but i realised pretty fast that this game has to be played at least with a H.O.T.A.S. (Hands On Throttle And Stick) kind of setup. So i bought the Saitek Rhino X55 wich has a twist stick for the rudder and itnis faily cheap! But i bought my Thrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG™ A-10 replica & rudder pedals (hotas warthog doesn’t have twist rudder) very quickly after, expensive but in the end you really want this H.O.T.A.S.setup. And i think i can safly say that the majority of DCS community are flying with the Thrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG™. So like Jester986 said, get yourself a joystick and enjoy DCS to the fullest. I suggest to buy a cheap HOTAS Setup like the Thrustmaster “T.Flight Hotas 4 War Thunder Starter Pack” (with twist stick for rudder) to get you going and save up for a hrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG™ Or if you have te money buy it straight away, because in the end you really want the Thrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG™! And i also like to suggest to look in to a application called “voice attack” in combination with Hollywood his VAICOM 2.5 PRO profile to control the radio’s with your voice, the less you have to use your keyboard in dcs the better IMO! Thes are 2 fairly cheap and handy applications and you can use Voice attack for a lot of games.
  23. hey Johnny_Rico, i try to get this to work but i'm stuck at 1 scan warning, and i might have the same problem as tn_prvteye? my cmd log; my Weather.bat; my thanks in advance
