I think I've just found out why I couldn't take off in snow conditions

Been flying this week and going through my modules, when was the last update for the CC version. Today on a multiplayer server I load up with bombs and rockets and reduced the fuel to under maximum weight. And for the life of me I could not take off . I was hertling down the runway and the IAS speed dial didn't move, I ran out of runway on more then one occasion. Surly if I'm within maximum weight I should be able to take off . Am I missing something here . The speed dials didn't move yet I'm traveling down the runway fast . Going to add this was in snow winter conditions. Also no problem taking off in desert conditions . However nearly ran out of runway .

Have a look at your Vram , see if there is a build up , i fly online 99% and im always switching between F10 - to F1 , and over time say an hour my FPS have come down to a crawl 19fps in some case i have too restart me system to clear memory cache .

So Ive got VRnecksafer working in DCS and other flight sims i have . But i just cant get XRNecksafer to work in DCS . i go through pico link and steamVR . https://gitlab.com/NobiWan/xrnecksafer/-/tree/beta5candidate?ref_type=heads However when running beat4a all is working on desktop app . But in game 3D world , nothing works ,if i turn my head as normal all works but if i try necksafer ,no added views work . Just normal head movement . odd . But VRNecksafer all working .

Are you using steamVR . What version of necksaver

So what's the fix .

DCS crash with XRNecksafer , i went back to VRNecksafer . This works for me . Start steamVR then run VRNecksafer . Center when in game .

Been flying in VR this last week , FPS drop when in cockpit maybe due to dust cloud , Cockpit looks like Beta with shiny glass on all readouts cant read some of it , The small Compass has a refection on it and you cant read compass heading not sure if place holder . The Textures look wash-outed , compared to the Hind and other Heli i fly . Every thing is black . No colour just a black cockpit .

I have this also , this is what's happening, Auto start , trim rudder and pitch for take off , increase throttle, slow, as it's very twitchy too twitchy, your tip over , rise into the air , push forward on pitch and nothing happens, my joystick was at full defect then all of a sudden it kicks in and you go straight into the ground . Very odd . This time I use trim forward to gain forward speed nothing happens on trim up . I checked key binde and have red mark . So trim don't work .

I'm still not convinced this bird is out of beta after seven years .

Flying with reshade , in VR . How . ???

Lots of stuttering on take off . Maybe the dust cloud . Causing frame drops. Went into hover lined up on Target then heli loose control fall to earth . I not sure about this , has the last patch broken it . Any one .

If wireless i would use Virtual desktop and wait for Pico Connect to come out of Beta . jabbers video is a must watch on Youtube about the memory leaks and the stuttering with 2.9 .MT.

Can we trim the rudder pedals. Like in the hind . If I trim the hind my rudder and pitch and roll, stay in that position. Can we do the same with the Gazzel . I have trim on instant for pitch and roll and rudder but the rudder seems to keep returning to center after trim . I'm fighting the the controls. Found in options to trim rudder also .

Do you have a red icon in key binds next to trim up , ect .

The pico connect is beta software , I would go back to pico link and run VD in high mode and set 75-hz in Pico 4 .

Very odd . You have decent system RTX3070 Ti . 32GB ram . Did you check your Vram . while loading into Syria . Can you send setting photo . ??? Are you using Pico4 connect or VD . Have you done a clean and repair and check nvidia drivers updates . ?

Try running DCS with out VR mode . Run DCS in single core mode . Clean DCS and repair . Run DCS . See were your at .

Pico connect is in beta stage correct. Uninstall and go back to pico link . Try dcs. Also Necksaver works with steam Api . XRNS will crash DCS.

I guess to help middle of the range PC gaming systems . As we know 2.9 has been very power hungry. Some people , well most i guess cant afford RTX 4090s . Thats my thinking and to bring smooth frame rates to desktops and VR .

I'm going to Bump this again , Petro needs some work its getting quite frustrating online , Targets spotted Petro wont lock , cant see targets crosshair dances around locks then wont fire . its all very odd . lock air targets - He wont id takes forever . By the time id target too late shot down too close to target . Open flat terrain big black blob for targets wont id .

Always make a back up of your settings , when you change computer to upgrade your have your DCS controller files to hand .
