I would love to see a feature that auto-saves your mission to a new user defined file every so often (user defined intervals too) in case of crash or wanting to spend a number of hours at different sittings at a mission. Basically, to save your progress.

Hello, Whilst running a User mission I had a DCS crash after a few hours of playing. See attached log... There's also a load of shader errors (shouldn't happen to user PC errors), some other effects and other errors. Plus DCS seems to be using 90% of my CPU? I've noticed a frame rate drop recently from 40-50 on the ground in Caucasus (AV8B) to 25 on Caucasus (FA18c). Persian Gulf am seeing a -5FPS drop compared to Caucasus also. Additionally, I've noticed a tiny shake when looking at the F18 in F2 view. Cheers, Chris :joystick: dcs.log-20180615-215114.zip

Hello, Had a couple of crashes last couple of days. One in-game and one using the mission editor - mission editor also crashes to desktop when using FLy Mission mode and exiting the sim. Caused by: WorldGeneral.dll ntdll.dll Cheers :helpsmilie: dcs.log-20180608-012329.zip dcs.log-20180608-195725.zip

Hello, I seem to be missing a Hornet. Has anyone seen it?

Hello, I've noticed that am getting a performance drop in MP servers by upto -10 to-50FPS. There's also more noticeable stutters and lag then before, plus FPS seems to bounce around a lot (on the ground between 15 and 50 - 48-50 was my previous norm)- was more stable before. I use the same settings for both DCS and GPU as before but seems like its performance has decreased. I also fly on the same private servers constantly. Don't know if anyone else has noticed this?

Put it this way. If you have a new CPU over 4ghz, you won't need to worry. I run DCS on an i7 950 @ 3.8ghz (4 cores, 8 threads). The issue with DCS is the GPU. I have a Palit 8GB 1070 Ti and DCS with mostly high settings, MSAA x2, shadows on, gives me 50FPS on the ground, 60-70 in the air, and upto 130 FPS over the water. So you need a decent CPU 3.8ghz+, 16GB+ ram, SSD drives, and a decent 8GB GPU. I also have a 144Hz 1080p monitor with a 1ms response time over Display Ports for the faster FPS. 60hz = 60FPS max. -
if you haven't already, see about getting a 144hz monitor that has a 1ms response rate for higher FPS. 60hz = 60FPS max

Hello, Just had a DCS crash whilst playing some multiplayer PvP in the Viggen using RB-24J's. Have attached the logs ( i had to remove the trk file as it was 16mb - any chance you can make the zip allowance 20mb?) Many thanks, Chris :smartass: dcs.log-20180510-191328 (2).zip

Hello, Was flying the Viggen on a server and had a game crash. See attached logs (can't attach zip as it's too big 12.2mb). Have done a registry cleanup after crash, but also have installed a new graphics card, 1070Ti. Cheers, Chris DCS Log Crash 05May2018.txt

So, adding effects for the rushing wind noise increasing with speed and the air appearing much less smooth, with pockets of rough air, with vibration and turbulence effects for increased realism (verisimilitude). Plus: Thermal effects Updraft and downdraft from mountains

...I've looked all over that email and searched for any attachments, and I have failed to find my present? Surely, there should have been a free module of my choice gift?? :smilewink:

Hello, I fly the Harrier all the time, and was wondering when the following issues are to be resolved? 1. Mass Dust / Spray effect on carrier when looking over shoulders 2. Mavericks IRMV seems to be bugged 3. Sidearm HUD display - retical over target instead of to the left side of display 4. UFC - be fully functional for IFF, Waypoints, TOT, and others 5. CCIP marker seems to be off target to where bombs hit - realism or broke? 6. Flight Model - people seem to be able to do 70 deg nose high spins whilst hovering, plus can go into "Shuttle Launch" mode However, been enjoying this module 5 days a week since launch, just need more system depth now to fully immerse... Many thanks, Chris

Hello, After my multiplayer session this evening, I took a look at the DCS log and had multiple errors. We saw quite a bit of lag tonight also (not my server but I joined it). Some errors state that this shouldn't happen on the user PC... So, thought I would post to share.. Cheers, Chris DCS_log_errors.txt

You could have the option to respawn in a new aircraft or the last saved state. Therefore you have a reset and try again option. If a group, fleet can age by having an option to ignore airframe losses. Also you could choose the age of your fleet and the amount of wear adjusts accordingly. Role play borrowing an old airframe whilst awaiting delivery of the new?

The ability to simulate: Wind effects and noise from speed and motion - aircraft "talking" back Turbulence effects Fleet Management for groups Servicing intervals Repair cycles Oil depletion and aging Hydraulic fluud depletion and aging Leaks simulation System failures based on wear and tear, aging etc Individual engine sim - failures, wear and tear, bad management, surges, bird ingestion etc Progressive wear and tear of airframe and cockpit including dirtying from use Aircraft state saved between sessions Ages even if not used Etc
-
Multiple cinematic camera views and effects for capturing footage like with the replay option. Includes apertures, lenses, exposure settings etc. Plus a record function better than the current track recording where player aircraft can dive into the ground etc. Plus with free camera to place anywhere with ease.
