Found a video of it . The sound can be heard around 3:13.

I recently saw a few USAF F-15 & F-16 aircraft come into land, but as they were doing so, they gave off two fairly loud beeps, on several occasions. Anyone know what this is about? And in case I wasn't clear, these are beeps that can be heard from the ground, not in cockpit beeps.

IL2 is no where near as complex as DCS, or even Lock On. There's no way to play either of the latter with a console game pad. I don't see why ED would make a console game, they would essentially be going backwards. So, no. :smilewink:

What "crap Asus" board do you have, or are you using the MSI board now in your signature? I had my Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz with an Asus P5K Pro.

Problem with the Cougar mods is that they tend to cost twice as much as the actual stick, with the exception of the hall sensors, but I don't see a need for them personally. As for the CPU, a stock Q6600 will easily run Black Shark. I've run Call Of Duty 4 at 2.4GHz and it was fine.
