  3. Ja, die Wirbelschleppen haben einen großen (negativen) Einfluß auf die FPS. Das merkst Du besonders, wenn Du in hinter einer größeren Anzahl an anderen Flugzeugen fliegst. Wenn ich in einer WWII Mission hinter einer großen Bomberformation fliege, wird DCS zum Daumenkino.
  4. Thanks for looking into it BN. Oh, that's probably because I use a symbolic link to the Moose files. I was not aware that this makes tracks unplayable for others. Yes, it's not that they are not engaging at all. They do but at some point it stops. Here is a 2 min video showing the issue:

  6. I set up a little battle zone. However, at some point, infantry groups stop engaging each other. They have ammo left and are not heavily damaged. ROE is "FIRE" and alarm state "AUTO". The https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_func_getDetectedTargets functions says each group has not detected the other. This is single player with DCS 2.5.5.41371

  8. Those are probably names of trigger zones defined in the mission editor. This is useful to simulate long range traffic. Once the aircraft arrive in the zones, they are despawned and new ones are created. You can also set up zones as departures to have it the other way around or zones as departures and destinations to simulate high altitude traffic across the map.
  9. Has anyone asked ED? Hmm, it feels like I have asked this question already some time ago :D Not sure what would be the best way to convince ED and other third parties? So far only Heatblur seems to have acknowledged the importance Jetseat/SSA support of modules.
  10. Thanks mate, your additional words about what's happening "behind the scenes" is actually very motivating. I usually don't expect things to be fixed "right away" but it is important to know that something is happening and the time invested in reporting a bug was not in vain. I can only speak for myself but still, I think most people are aware that you are the one reporting things and that you are not responsible for what is fixed and what is not. In any case, you are doing a great job and you are helping a lot of people - many are not even aware of it. So I hope this comes across as it is meant, i.e. a little boost for your motivation. In your opinion, is there is anything we (as a community) could do to help?

  12. They dont export the data. This has to be enabled by the server host.
  13. Yeah, as Hollywood said. Yesterday, I renamed by Saved Games/DCS OpenBeta folder and let DCS create a new one from scratch. Running VAICOM and DCS then worked. So the problem seems to be somewhere in that folder. I have not yet had time to step-by-step move things from my backup to the new folder. So I have no idea what exactly is the culprit.
  14. Here is is the dcs.log and VAICOM.log. No mods, export.lua clean except VAICOM of course. Tested with Hornet instant action mission "Ready on the Ramp". Problem only occurs when in the aircraft and unpaused. I tried to pause and got the usual working result. Logs.zip

  17. Tja, willkommen beim dynamischen Spawnen auf Carriern in DCS :sad_2: Sei froh, dass Du keine Helikopter spawnen möchtest. Leider nix zu machen, außer auf den Supercarrier zu warten.
  18. Awesome tool, AMVI_Rider! Had to buy a Wacom tablet just for this :) Working great so far :thumbup: I have a few issues with assigning buttons but I'll test a bit more and report back.
  19. Die Gruppe sehe ich in der Mission nicht. Die ist hier zwar auskommentiert, aber in dem lua Script, was in der Mission ist, nicht.
  20. Kann man den Tpod automatisch auf einen Wegpunkt schwenken lassen?
