This just happened to my whilst hosting my mission earlier on today. I was running two well known mods; 1) High Digit SAMs Mod 2) SAM Sites Asset Pack I've run plenty of missions with both of these mods in the mission file and never suffered any issues. Therefore I do not believe mods are the culprit. On Init the game decided to delete most of the vehicles at my FOB. You can see it quite clearly on the Tacview file. I have attached the Tacview to this post. It's an AESA, highly unlikely any of the RWR's we have in DCS can pick it up.

The maximum number of lolipop threats should be 6, with the highest priority threats taking priority. As you can see in the attached image the aircraft can display god knows how many, probably around 15-20?. There are official documents backing this up however rule 1.16 is in effect.

Assets should come with map packs. It's that simple. A WW2 map purchase should give you all the assets for that era. A Cold War / Vietnam map purchase should come with the assets for that era. This way money comes in and there's no community divide. Money is not the issue with asset packs, it's the divide. ED will eventually change how the WW2 asset pack works, it's merely a waiting game until the realization hits home.

More than a single thread, hundreds of posts. Numerous threads. A good start would be reading all 800+ of @Beamscanner's posts. The guy is dedicated to correct RWR simulation.

I would much rather the ability to mod. ED doesn't always get things right. Modding is an essential capability in any milsim sandbox.

I'm not so sure about this... A number of people, myself included, run sound mods for various jets RWR's using these luas. These sound modification are purely clientside and improve realism. By adding this file to IC to will cause 2 things to happen: Annoyance More servers will cease to run IC further enabling exploitation I think a better solution would be to separate those functions that are actually exploitable into a separate lua or better yet compile them. The sounds part of the lua is not causing any harm and locking it behind IC would further degrade DCS.

Na, a few years this was a fair consideration however there are much bigger fish to fry. Female inclusion in DCS is of no importance to gameplay. Nobody will benefit from it, development pace will slow further to accommodate this request. If anyone is suffering delusion from the male pilot model you can modify textures to your hearts content.

As one can see in the images the engine covers disappear as the camera moves further away. I'm pretty sure this is related to the LOD's. At LOD0 the covers are there, at LOD1 and above the covers vanish.

This is nothing new, half the map is non-destructible. I've lost count of how many times key parts of the map have been reported as being indestructible. It's obviously quite a serious issue in a combat flight sim, unfortunately Ugra doesn't seem to agree or care.

My RAM is fine, it's DCS' desire for evermore memory. I have 16GB Corsair RAM and had a 16GB pagefile on my C drive which was an NVME (M2) drive with Windows. Apparent solution I've set the pagefile on my C drive to 'System Managed' and put a page file on my 2TB SSD that's 2.5x time my RAM (so 40GB). That's seems to have solved the issue. Played for about 40 mins with no crashes. I read elsewhere on the internet that at minimum a pagefile should be 1.5x your RAM, for best stability 4x your RAM. -

To be honest this game crashes so often I can't tell one crash from the other! I just experienced a new game crash today that was so hard it crashed my entire operating system! Not sure if it's related to the IC fail of the Gazelle (vanilla files, now uninstalled) or something else. dcs.log -
I believe this is the cause of my spontaneous game crash when flying the Su-25T online. It's about 4 lines from the end. v81, to answer your question. A lua was modified in a SATAL tournament giving the JF-17 better performance, I believe it was a radar tweak. The issue was reported to Deka and Deka patched by hardcoding the modified parameter into a compiled .dll. Deka patched the issue. ED's modification to the IC system was not requested. When players requested in mass that the change be reverted ED deleted all the comments and closed the thread. They also banned heaps of people from the ED discord for the same thing. You know this is the Eagle Dynamics forum? You can literally ask your players right here BEFORE making a change.

The hangars highlighted in red are not accessible for aircraft parking in the Mission Editor. I think this is a missing feature. Also there are parking spots between the hangars (white aircraft in image). This is incorrect. The aircraft should only be parked in the hangars. Cheers!
