  1. WOW simply amazing! How similar is this to the rb05 simulator at arboga?
  2. +1 last mission we were 20min delayed because of cat hookup :(
  3. Version 3 is done I've not had much time because of my basic miltary training, but now i finally finished this updated version. Eventually a CASE 2 version will be made. Ive moved the highlighted patterns to an offset of 15 degrees and added some clarity over how the aircraft should be configured in the Wave off/Bolter pattern.
  4. @Gripes323 sadly no, i was 2cm to tall for any pilot position. So i choose forward observer instead. @Wags So would it be correct to say that approach choose when you dirty up unless nothing is said, then dirty up at 5-6NM?
  5. @Nealius yes, the P-816 states 6NM should be passed at 150knts. I think however that approach most likely tells you what to do in order for intervals to be correct. @David OC thank you, it really means alot to me. :D @Gripes323 Actually when you say it, i think it says that in the CV NATOPS. @Wags Thank you for your input, when i find time i will most likely move the colored pattern into one of the grey 15 or 30 ones. @Rlaxoxo lol thx, its not deployment though, its called basic military training.
  6. Yeah, theres alot of conflicting info on that. P-816 says landing checks should be done at 10 and gear should be down no later than 8. Wags in his case 3 video put it down at 10 so i thought ill just put that. Also i do think that approach tells you when to dìrty up so that he can keep intervals
  7. Comment if you spot any inaccuracies
  8. yes, however the spin does not go to initial it goes directly to the break and into the pattern. Position 1 is in the stack and at 2000 ft minimum, while spin is at 1200 ft and inital - break is at 800 ft.
  9. AFAIK Stack can be joined from any direction, but in the way in which the arrows show. (Imagine putting arrows all along the entire circle) Spin pattern is the pink circle and is only flown in case of a full pattern, I.e if two planes are in front of the ship and heading for the abeam the pattern is full. I have not found a clear definition for Strike, but i would guess Strike helps Red Crown with protecting airspace and doing IFF Checks.
  10. Just finished version 5, this one should be more accurate and easier to understand. Ive also created a decluttered version here.
  11. You might be right. I was not sure when i read that and then watched one of Lex youtube video. He says roughly the marshal stack so i dont know which i should put... Also thanks alot for that comment Gripes, it means alot!
  12. Ill make sure to add 350knts as spin speed and 250knts as the stack speed to the next version.
  13. Theres no specific speed that ive found, although ive heard rumors about two flights in one stack and i dont see how that would work without a standardized speed. Although in the CNATRA P-816 it says that a maximum consume fuel flow airspeed should be kept unless instructed otherwise.
  14. I think Wags said something about a carrier module during a Q and A around the time NTTR was being released. Would be nice if that module also contained a Pri Fly view and LSO platform with VR support. The "popeye" definition was taken directly from P-816. I've never heard it before so you might be right. :dunno: The exact sources i used are here: https://www.cnatra.navy.mil/local/docs/pat-pubs/P-816.pdf http://navybmr.com/study%20material/cv-natops-21oct99.pdf P-816 seems to be from 2014 but its for the T-45C, so there might be somethings that are only for that aircraft. CV NATOPS is from 1997, but i was unable to find all the communication among other things in that manual.
