  1. My mouse also relocates itself to a certain spot on my screen after I let it go for a few seconds, though I only play on one monitor, with a second for other things.
  2. Reminds me quite a bit of the CH/MH-53 with those side pods.
  3. Excellent work. If ED won't take a look at this, then I hope at least that this becomes a community standard mod. Realism is top priority.

  5. I have several dozen screenshots, so it would be rather rude to spam the thread with them. Instead, here's an album: https://www.flickr.com/gp/85618488@N07/0BW8m4

    M2000 vs Mig-21

Wow, check out that wing flex.
  7. I just hope it lasts through October, that's all I need.
  8. One's desire for a certain variety of those things is indeed a matter of preference, but there are certain limits to suspension of disbelief. The goal, probably, is to recreate this region as realistically as is reasonable. Whether the issue here is color filters or texture color, a departure from reality as large as red vs green is probably not something that should be left alone.
  9. I'm not a pilot, but I have been dabbling in flight sims for a few years. I'm also not sure if I'm just extremely lucky, but I have yet to... fully crash the MiG-21 despite going through several landings without having touched the training missions. The worst I've had was a busted main gear. The speed of the landing wasn't what shocked me, it's the way it responds to quick pitch inputs. It seems to like to go to a high AoA before really responding if you pull hard, even at landing speeds, so an attempted late correction to a low approach will just slam your gear into the runway. You really really have to plan ahead, which is one of the things I've rarely put much effort into with flight sims.
  10. I haven't checked out the view controls too closely, but I know that you can zoom out and in with the Num / and * keys respectively by default.
