  1. The same goes if you move the HDC while HMCS is SOI and HDC is outside of the display area. What happens then is the HDC moves to the edge of the display area, wherever it is facing.
  2. The HMCS display is the closest thing to the pilots eye, therefore it should not be displayed behind night vision (not wash out night vision when displaying white like the SPI symbol, and also display colors like when night vision is not used), it should also not be behind the cockpit blurr caused by night vision, or heat blur from the engines.
  3. From what I’ve seen the percieved ammount of smoke, and how long it will linger depends on many factors (I imagine wind, altitude perhaps, maybe humidity). I think the longer in your screenshots there looks nice. could you comment which lines and values changes what?
  4. That looks about right, can you make it stay longer?
  5. Taz, you ever find how to edit A-10 gun smoke? I’ve had no luck.
  6. You are just all over the place today, aren't you?
  7. I solved my stuttering issues by getting 64GB ram
  8. Glad to hear it! Looking forward to it. Glad you like it! I’m not really looking to make any more at this point though, sorry.
  9. Get it while it’s fresh! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314433/
  10. When Steer Point selector is set to either Mission or Flight Plan the latest created mark point shows up on HMCS, but after the mark points restart from A (after creating another mark point after Y) the last created mark point does not show up on HMCS. A-10CII_Mark_Point_Cycle.trk
  11. I run DCS on an M.2 with the OS on the same drive, and I have no issues with that setup. My only reference though is my last computer which was an iMac running windows bootcamp.
  12. I see, no just the stock profiles. Thanks, I’ll fiddle a bit but make a video either way!
  13. I can’t for the life of me get this behavior to work. For me it starts cycling through the profiles in the same way (from top to bottom in the profiles list) wherher I’m in CCIP or CCRP master mode.
  14. It’s an SUU-25 flare dispenser.
  15. One reason can be that the point you wish to fire the laser at is outside the masking zone. In DCS we unfortunately have an unrealistically narrow masking zone which does not adapt to what is currently loaded to the plane, which the real world pod does.
  16. I’d say it breaks all missions in syria with units moving on the ground, unless the mission maker takes specific precautions to avoid them. i’m making a mission with randomly spawned enemies that relies heavily on ground units maneuvering in specific directions, but that is most of the time unplayable and the vehicles must move by road to not get stuck forever.
  17. I think it was pretty useless for anti air and mostly used against ground targets irl.
  18. I’ve spent hundreds of hours in the syria map and I must say it is amazing. It is greatly detailed and varied. I only wish they’d have fixed the AI pathfinding problem in those plantations/fields that cover basically the entire map by now. Breaks every mission that involves ground units that move.
  19. I rarely have time for a full mission (cold start, takeoff, transit, tanking, action, tanking, transit, landing, shut down) so I divide it up. Sometimes I feel like doing tge first parts, sometimes just the middle parts, and sometimes the last parts. So I either cold start or air start.
