I just love this kind of "open-ended question"... Would you rather be rich and in good health or poor and sick ? I think it is quite objective to write that HB has been quite tight-fisted in terms of contents, specially now we are close to the release date. One could argue that it is a strategy to avoid gratuitous criticism but they will have to deal with that anyway after the release so what would be the point ? Anyway... HB is the only decision-maker and has certainly good reasons to do this way. This way of seeing things (that I will apply from now) is the only reasonable one. ;)

Yup, I watched these footages and I truly thank the creators. They were all very entertaining and teased me a lot but I must admit (as a difficult customer :smilewink:) I expected to see more technical stuff(*) at a certain point of the module development. And yes, I dared to think it would have been possible to go more beyond all that has already be done (or differently). Now, I will patiently keep updating the forum page until the liberation. (*) cockpit tour, startup, takeoff, landing, carrier landing...and RIO :D

To avoid neglecting is not giving the priority. Taking into consideration is like putting a new variable into a string. I do agree though about the respect. It is the basis of good behaviour, good communication and...happiness. ;)

And I would like to sincerely apology for the disrespectful content I posted. I admit it was not funny at all (the goal of these memes was not clear and could be taken at face value).

These memes, on purpose, are a nonsense in a total nonsense. This thread, like many others regarding the release of this module, has become totally useless and uninformative. Our fault certainly but HB communication’s too probably. Instead of asking, for fun or not, for some help to check the manual editing and logically creating a wave of naive, embarrassing (and touching in a same time) replies, they could have played it differently. As a customer who prepurchased, I would have loved to see more contents. They do not have time to produce that kind of things and prefer to focus on finishing the module ? Fine, more than understandable. But why didn’t they ask their testers to produce these videos ? I compare with Razbam and their MiG-19. They just postponed the release date but posted on a regular basis training videos. Ok, these training missions were ready when they posted it (I do not have the naivety to believe it is not time consuming) but I am sure a majority of the testers would have been happy to create their own. Of course, this thinking dies if the module is not ready at all. Something an average customer could normally understand regarding the complexity of the airplane. If there is one thing a developper should never neglect is the childishness of their customers (mine included). His strategy of communication should always take this point into consideration.

I concur. And it would have given them an opportunity to postpone the release date (in case of an unexpected and serious issue) without provoking a harsh reaction from a majority of the community. I am still surprised that HB or the testers have not yet released any contents regarding the technical aspects of the F-14B : startup, takeoff, radar, RIO...6 weeks from the end of the release window ! Is it a sort of “do not open ‘til Xmas” strategy ? Are they still working on big issues ? Polishing ? The least I can say, regarding this strategy of communication, is that HB did not choose the transparency. Up to them, they are free to do as they want but in this case but IMHO it would have been a better idea not to give this winter window to their customers. Never forget that a customer is like a child : tell him winter ends on the 20th of March, no matter it’s true, he still hopes he’ll get his toy sooner. :smilewink:

Whatever... For me the Tomcat was, is and always will be a pure A/A fighter originally designed for this purpose (the defender of the fleet). So, any bomb carried by a 14 is an heresy. :D
