Ok, I uninstalled both NTTR and Normandy and have reinstalled them. I also fund nVidia had a newer driver for my video card so I installed that also. No difference:

Yes, I have this issue also since yesterday! I haven't changed a thing setting wise, the only thing that happened was the game CTD on me. Not sure if it was immediately after that that this happened or not... As suspected, it was user error... Never mind. Triggers do work just fine in Normandy.

As the title says, are they working? Granted, I've never been good with the ME but certain basic things I could do. I'm just wanting to spawn a couple of flights to take off once n enemy flight has entered a trigger zone. I've tried part of group, all of group, coalition, etc. it just isn't firing. I'm probably forgetting something real simple, too... Is there a guide/tutorial around on trigger usage? I've done a search but nothing useful appeared on the first page. Thanks!

Being a complete idiot with the ME I ask... is it possible to create a template of a large bomber formation for us dolts to plug into missions? Is this even possible?

Just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about this, I just literally have not even gotten to test it out yet as all my time has been spent trying to maximize my settings for Normandy/NTTR 2.1 so things are running smoothly and consistently... it's been a long process that is also complicated by the fact that my wood delivery for the year arrived on Friday so most of my free time has been taken up with cutting and splitting and stacking wood... and occasional tweaking sessions to DCS. Once I do get to play with it a bit I'll report back here.

Okay, I know you testers and backers that have had this map a lot longer than the rest of us had to have made some missions to fart around in. How about sharing them? Please? :)

One thing I discovered that, at least for me, needed to be done was to actually go into settings and look at the graphical settings, even if you don't change a thing. Initially I wasn't understanding what some people were complaining about with the gun flash effect being too big/bright as they looked fine to me in the first flight I took. The next 4 attempts to fly crashed the program each and every time. Went into settings and only changed the civilian traffic to low and then the game runs without crashing at all and I now see a big visual difference on the map and the gun flash that some were talking about. Evidently, none of the new settings were taking affect as I hadn't gone into settings to "enable" them. Learned my lesson.

Thanks, Grimes, stupid me just assumed I should be able to select the map before creating a new mission... I know, I know... I also thought the new countries would show up in Nevada in premade missions. I then was able to create a quick mission for Normandy that let me edit it in the ME and that's when I thought things were messed up as the new countries weren't in that quick mission so my Dora was stuck being blue... Now the game crashes every time I try to fly this mission that only has 5 planes and a ship in it on a cloudless day in the afternoon... but that's another issue... Thanks again for the help!

I was able to create a fast mission that allowed me to edit it in the ME. Set up 4 B-17s and me in the Dora. Flew and engaged and shot them all down very quickly. I then tweaked the time of day and added a ship. Now the game crashes every time I try to fly it, within a min. I haven't touched any graphic settings at all... tonight I'll have to see what Nevada is like and then see if I can tweak the graphics so it won't keep crashing on me...

Okay, I have a stupid question. How do we even load/access the map from within the Nevada ME? I see no option to choose a map, only Nevada is there unless my eyes are a lot worse than I thought... I'm also not seeing any of the new countries listed in the ME yet either. Thanks for any help!

I hear what you're saying and I feel your pain, but remember this is an early alpha release that they are giving us access to. So I always expect bumps here and there along the route until official release. I bitch and moan about it with the rest of them but I try not to in the forums. ;) Hopefully I'll find out soon how she looks. Only 13% left to go! Oh, and to be honest, I really prefer using Skate Zilla's excellent utility! It is so much easier having just one place to go to update all installs- I have the alpha, beta and official release versions all on my drive.
