So I guess the problem I'm having with this mod is not that it's not working, it is. I'm just expecting to see more things on the ramp and it's only changing the texture of the runway (more tire marks etc..)

I've tried repeatedly to get this to work, even tried manually installing and still no joy, unistalled MM5 and installed latest ver. Grandsurf runway textures installs but doesn't show installation to cdds as for instance Groundpounder terrain does. even raised graphics level to highest settings, the most I've been able to get is greenish tinge around parking areas. Any advice would be welcome. My next step would be to uninstall LO:FC and start over but I can't see that really changing anything..?, But....:helpsmilie:

Okay I'm stumped I had MM5x and I could'nt get the runway texture mod to work no matter what I tried short of manual install and not knowing what to do with the file named addon.lma3 so I DL'd Modman6 and installed just the Grandsurf mod. the only thing I see now thats different is the greenish lines around the tarmac but nothing else, is it all runways?, is it just one specific field? One thing I noticed is that after I shut down the sim the entries I made in the graphics config are gone again someone please explain how this is supposed to work I'm having a brain fart.

I used ModMan and I dont see the textures so obviously I didn't do something right. I guess I need to go back to the read-me :doh:

Sound Effects Excellent Post GA, years ago my dad had a collection of sound effects records of everything from submarines to Hawkeyes taking off and landing, with such gems as F-4 using Vulcan Gattling guns etc... I'm in the midst of setting up my X-45 to play FC again as I had kinda put it on the back burner for a spell while I've been playing IL2. Now I'm starting to wonder, will it be necessary to have a completely different profile to play Black Shark? I mean how much of FC's controls or keyboard layout will translate into BS, are there a lot more new things or is the clickable cockpit going to make less button programming?

I have LOMAC-FC 1.12 and when I play some of the airshow clips and with mostly the Su-25 there are crashes that occur where there were'nt crashes before, during take-off in the "cruiser" replay and halfway through the demonstration of the "airshow" . Is this because of the patch changing things in the game and the vid being made in the vanilla FC version?

Wow I am sooo sorry I wasted my money on EECH2, (cos it really sucks) but I got to wonder and by the way I have a hard drive full of your vids dude, but GA are you a RL pilot? I mean Lomac is plenty complex and now a clickable cockpit (in Russian no less) I have to think if you aren't a licensed pilot you ought to be from all the hours you have obviously put in this sim. And probably there is some super secret Helo unit in Russia saying "Da we have to have dis guy in our squadron!" I have had this sim for as long as it's been out and now well I got to learn how to get farther than the quick start missions lol:pilotfly:
