Hello all, What do you think about the announcement that the Quest can double as a wired VR headset? Does it mean the Rift S is dead? The only downside of the Quest is the sub-pixel count vs the Rift S but you gain the ability to go standalone as well. That may also mean that the Rift S will be discounted soon :)

Well let's see. I am still flying with a MS Sidewinder stick (the NON FFB one !), this would be a welcome upgrade. Off course the shipping fees to where I live would probably be more than just buying the thing locally LOL. Also since I keep sticks for a looooong time my unborn son can take advantage of this in the future. :)

DCS modules are also available through steam but it is the same modules as on the ED store. You cannot mix and match though.

yes, before trying to update via the command line i ran the updater from the start menu. no luck. the game did auto update in the past 4 days (twice) but the version did not change on the loading screen.

Also having problems with the update. autoupdate.cfg : "version": "1.2.11.34087.547", autoupdate.log: STATUS: Successfully updated to 1.2.11.34087.547 but in the loading screen I get: 1.2.10.32582 and the new SU-27 module complains I have an old version tried running the updater manually as described in the sticky thread both in repair and update mode > no luck Any ideas other than re-installing everything?
