  1. I am seeing a significant performance decrease to. Clouds are jumping all over as well (this is a know bug.), Hopefully when the clouds are fixed the performance will come back (I wish it would get better.), I hate playing 2D. System Specs: MSI Z490 Godlike Intel 10900KF 128gb 4000 RAM RTX 3080 NVME 4.0 SSD
  2. DCS is a mess when it comes to VR (Which is a shame because it looks great and could be a humongous money maker for them. I hate the 2d version of the game looks like a PS4 game, no comparison to VR.). Settings matter a lot and differ greatly from one machine to the next. I have a z590 MB, 10900K CPU, 128GB RAM, HP Reverb G2 and a RTX 3080, you would think this setup would be great and it is in every game other than DCS (The one I want to play.). My visuals are blurry too, I've been tweaking this game and throwing hardware at it for over 5 years. One thing that does matter is your Terrain Textures (the Low setting will do a world of good for your setup and really is hardly noticeable.). Good luck (Better hardware is not the solution, I found out the hard way.). VR is really where flight sims are going, I wish DCS would acknowledge this and focus more on VR.
  3. I am new to this Sim as well and have had horrible frame rates (going through clouds, airports and LOL even bombs dropping from planes). This is something experienced even more with Radeon cards. It is a great looking game, but it is horribly put together (I am a developer and where I work we would get in trouble for this). Others will tell you that it is because it is a complex Sim but they are wrong. I keep hearing about the EDGE engine to which is supposed to offer DX11, but if they do not code it right it will have horrible performance issues to, not sure about the release date (LOL... 2025).
