Thanks for the info - gonna stick to tutorial missions, videos and Chucks guide for now. Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A6013 mit Tapatalk
  4. You´ll need to open the shape of the Mi-8 in the modelviewer - modelviewer2.exe can be found in the following path \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin The shape you can find here: \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\World\Shapes\MI-8MT_lod0.EDM --> the higher the LOD number the less detailed so just load lod0 In the modelviewer open up the liveries tool, select the Mi-8 and then you can choose your skin to test it - you´ll have to place it in a corresponding folder and also have a description.lua for it. You can check out how this stuff should look like by taki
  5. Not entirley sure - my guess would be exhaust filters or something like that. Haven´t done a Mi-8 livery yet - you could just colorize it bright red / green or something like that and check in the model viewer which part it exactly is. Think they are removeable - so not sure if they are visible in the model viewer by default.
  6. You can get the template here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/mi-8_template/ The pattern itself you have to figure out with help of reference photos .. as the camouflage patterns are not the same with every livery.
  7. Windows 7 support from MS ended on 14th of January2020 already.
  8. Actually I am quite disappointed - am I? - that DCS doesn´t run on my old Win 3.1
  9. BF-110 would also be nice .. :) So many planes still left to do :D Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A6013 mit Tapatalk

    Corsair Hype!

Would be more hyped for a Zero but I´ll take the Corsair as well ^^
  11. Nothing on this front?
  12. Had the same issue .. warmed the engine up real careful at the 2nd attempt .. Still heard strange noises from the engine at the takeoff run but it didn't blow .. Wasn't able to save the U-Boot though :( Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A6013 mit Tapatalk
  13. Thanks a lot for your work! Coming at the right time as I´ve just started a few days a ago with learning the JF-17
  14. I am using a MS Sidewinder FFB2 which is working great for helo flying and MFG Crosswind pedals. As a throttle I have the X-55 ... not the best and a few years old so loose / jittery rotaries, buttons and axis but it hast to do for now.
Also WW2, Korea / Vietnam Ära, ..
