  1. Yeah I did that as well as loading into a scenario and trying to pop screens from that. Dunno what it is but I just can't find the angle/perspective I need. I basically need like a high-resolution, 2D, blue-print like view of it. It's being used as the template to laser engrave a UH-1 for a customer. It'll have a head on shot and side-view, then specs. And for whatever reason the camera just isn't allowing the right perspective.
  2. Hey grunf, thanks you for the advice on using the AI. Wasn't sure what you meant until I just added a UH-1 to the mission editor, ran it, and messed with it! That said, if anybody has screens of a UH-1 perfectly level (or close to it), on all axis, from the side and front, I'd really love to see them!
  3. The head on one may work. Not sure about the side one. Basically I'm looking for almost a 2D picture. Skids level. Rotor not moving. Basically like if you were looking at a blueprint of one. Thank you so much for the the reply though
  4. Hey guys, I don't own the module, although I do own other Belsimtek ones. I'm wondering if anyone could provided me with a couple of high resolution, big pictures, of the UH-1 directly from the side, and directly head on. Background doesn't matter, but they need to be as perfectly square/level as humanly possible. If anyone would be willing to do this I'd be extremely appreciative. Please and thank you!
  5. Do what ya want/what works. Ignore the folks that feel the need to critique your play style. I play for fun. The uniform is worn in real life...
  6. The 109K prototype first flew in Autumn of 1943, production began August, 1944. The design was first drawn up in early 1943 as a way to consolidate and update the million different existing 109 platforms into one platform with performance that could match the late war Allied piston engine aircraft. Not real sure about the Dora. The FW-190D-0 prototype was completed and flew in October of 1942. But then there was a D-1, D-2, D-3, and then finally the D-9. But, the initial D version first flying in late 1942 is close enough I suppose.
  7. Archer, may want to edit the info on the ME-109 and FW-190 prototypes. The 1935 and 1939 dates (respectively) are for the base model, original design. The 109K and 190-Dora would have been first tested at some point in the second half of WWII.
  8. I don't understand the hype for the SU-22. Sure its a great plane, and good looking. But you just finished the MiG-21 (more or less), why would you wanna do a SU-22. Is it simply cause it would be easier due to cross-refrence/commonality with the MiG-21 and you guys want to do something quick? Besides, we have plenty of ground-attack aircraft. Lets do a fighter or at least a multi-role. Honestly, I'd rather see something Western to compete with the MiG-21. The F-4 Phantom would be phenomenal. So many countries used it for so many different roles, it would a big module but man it would easily be one of the best. If not the F-4 then what about an A-7 or F-8? Those are both single pilot aircraft. I'll buy anything produced...eventually. But the Su-22 would be towards the bottom of a very long list of Western and Russian airframes I'd rather see first.
  9. Help Hey guys. First post but LONG time lurker. So, it seems as though myself, like a million others, would love to fly and fight the Mi-24. I do understand that I'd still have the KA-50, avionics, etc. Basically everything but the "apperance" of the Hind as I understand (except there is a way to use the Hind specific ATGMs?). So bare with me here, as I'm far from computer literate and was wondering if you guys could answer some questions/help me out in general. 1.)As I understand it, as per today's date, is the Hind just not an option to fly right now? Or is it flyable but I'd have to roll back to version 1.2.7? 2.) If that is the case, how would I go about rolling the game back to that version? Is it possible to only roll back certain things while retaining things like my DCS World current campaigns, statistics, etc. Again, I'm sorry for asking for what has surely been asked a million times. I did quite a bit of searching, saw the readme, etc but its basically Greek to me. In essence, I'd like to be able to fly and fight that list of helos but I don't even know where to start. Most importantly Im really scared of screwing up or altering files in a way that I can't/dont have the expertise to fix. Is it possible to make a simple copy of certain files, then I can just swtich back and forth with ease. So in a nutshell: I have DCS World, BS2, and A-10C. In laymans terms, how can I get into the cockpit of these other helos and fight them (specifically the Hind)? Thanks ahead of time. I'll be eternally grateful for anyone that can help out a dummy like me!
