  1. Hi folks, I have FC2, and I saw some videos on Youtube about FC3, huge difference in the cockpit department. The cockpits in FC3 are very much 3D stereo as the player moves his head around. So I can see the point to get FC3 which I am going to get after I have decided on a right set of Joystick, Saitek X52 is what I am looking at, please provide me with your recommendation in the meantime. I have also downloaded DCSW just yesterday actually, and it's a thumb up!! Excellent interface, and graphics smooth as fluid. The Su-25T looks photorealistic and every details is model'd right to the last. For instance, the air brake at the rear of the aircraft shows some of the moving parts animated flawlessly. But then I have a question about the cockpit, is it supposed to be non-clickable anymore or I missed out enabling some of the features in the settings? Thanks.
  2. Thanks tobaschi for your reply. Let me get this right, so Oculus Rift and Oculus DK2 are both prototype, they are not meant to be a finished product for general VR games consumer, is that correct? I still do not understand about the two views, maybe I didn't ask the question well. I saw on the videos that when using the toy, there are 2 views representing the left and right eyes visions, that is those who are not wearing the toy see the game is divided into 2 visions. But what does the user who is wearing the Oculus Rift see? This video shows 1 single view This video shows 2 views
  3. Thanks SkateZilla, I notice that you also use TrackIR. I have a problem when using it: when I look to my sides as my head moves, I lost my line of sight to the monitor along the way. Is that something I have missed configuring the device or I don't know how to use it?
  4. Hi there, I m working and living in HK at the moment, how much would be the shipment charges and options?
  5. Hi there, just discovered this thread about Oculus Rift, have a couple of questions. I want to order the toy on Oculus website, but in the Agreement, it says the kit is for developer and not for consumer product, what does that mean? It was in the Pre-order page. Another question is that I see a great number of videos on Youtube showing people using the toy, and notice that the screen on their monitor is divided into 2 view I presume they represent the left and right eyes, is that what I will see when wearing the Oculus ? Also, I wear spectacles, do I take off my glasses before putting on the Oculus, or the toy has space to accommodate my glasses as well? Last one, I saw another video on Youtube that a chap playing DCS Huey with Oculus, he remarked that Oculus reduces the game resolution, I certainly wish that will not be the case with DCS World, cause the game is so beautiful at 1680/1050.
  6. I actually figured it out yesterday and successfully downloaded it. I also noticed on Youtube that some video show players are using VR device like Oculus Rift. I want to know if Oculus Rift will reduce the resolution down when used with the game?
  7. So, I will have to have DCS World in order to fly your mod? Well I can buy DCS World then. Sorry for stupid questions, I have not been following the forums for some time now.
  8. I have TrackIR and I use it because I wear a pair of spectacles. Recently I learnt about Oculus and it looks like a formidable solution because it is a complete VR considering head movements closely aligned with viewing within cockpit. Just want to if DCS titles like FC3 supports Oculus too?
  9. Hi Nyt3Stalk3r, I have Lockon Platinum with Flaming Cliff 2, can the F-14D be installed into either one the two games? Thanks for your great work!
