  1. I figured out how I can slave the TADS when I have the overlay in the GHS set to TADS, but is there a way to slave the TADS using normal flight symbology?
  2. Was this for maintenance/cost reasons?
  3. Is it a bug that it takes about half a second after pulling the trigger to fire? Or is this how the Mossie‘ was? If it was I’d be curious to know the mechanisms that make it behave this way.
  4. Out of curiosity is there any differences between the American and British apaches, besides the British one having slightly more powerful engines and the Starstreaks? Also are they generally painted the same as their American counterparts?
  5. Just thought it’d be fun to speculate if the F-22 is going to retire earlier than anticipated for F-15EX‘s and gen 6 fighters, is there a chance we could see a module be worked on after its retirement?
  6. Im gonna go on a limb and guess probably not because of how new it is and it appears there is little info available on it, but is there any chances of seeing this variant come to the module? Would be pretty interesting for precision strikes on some missions where you wouldn’t want to damage anything around your target. Then again I don’t think we have to worry about that until fragmentation is implemented.
  7. If I’m understanding the question right, I’d really enjoy the ability to swap seats while flying in multiplayer, that’s my only gripe with the Hind currently.

    30mm Ammo

    I saw in another thread that the ammo for the 30mm is some kind of a dual purpose round, I've been having a hard time finding info on it so I'm wondering is this what ammo the Apache carries? Can it carry other types as well? What are the capabilities of the ammo it carries?
  9. I was just going to suggest this but checked before I did, +1 all the way, I would love to have at least some aspect of bomber gameplay.
  10. So i'm not all too informed on how RWR's work, but thinking about it, wouldn't a target's RWR give him a lock warning if you are using a very small scan zone such as 1 Bar, 5 Degrees? Or would there just be a stronger signal strength because the radar is still deviating from the target, just lesser than would a wide scan area? This is a question about real life and if it is simulated in DCS.

  13. So i see that the Air burst shells are working but i noticed now we can't operate the 88 with combined arms D: i hope that changes very soon.

  15. There are some tanks where you can shoot, like the tiger 2/1 if I remember correctly, however the controls.are very weird, such as using my POV hat to move the turret and elevate the gun.
  16. 17 here, first aircraft sim was Jane's WWII Fighters when I was 3, i even still have the two discs for it, wish I could find a windows 10 patch because I have some good memories of that game :D

  18. Is there any plans of adding jetwash to Dcs planes? I think it'd be a neat feature if someone gets too close behind you in flight and gets slowed down a bit or blown around.
  19. So i've been looking at the wallpaper i have set for my desktop that was posted by Wags not long ago and i looked at the wing tips and noticed that it didn't appear to be a regular AIM-9. So i'm wondering in the screenshot what missile this is, because to me it sure looks like an AIM-9X. Or maybe i dream too much.
  20. Ok good to know i didn't mess up my update with a mod. Anyways, is the Spr.Gr.39 the airburst ammo or anti tank round? Still fun to use but a bit more difficult scoring direct hits on pesky b17's :P
  21. Nevermind, found the older LUA's and it works good now! Although i'm curious.. is there a way to script it so i can control when it fires in game?
  22. So i am messing around with the flak script until AA releases for the wwii assets pack. And i noticed when i fly out the example mission made by the creator of the script the script will work fine. For the mission start trigger, its actions are DO SCRIPT FILE Mistv3_3a.lua and DO SCRIPT FILE flakv2_0.1lua yet when i switch them to the most updated version of each being mist_4_3_74.lua and flakv3_4.lua the script ceases to work while everything is correct. How could i fix this? Or is there a newer updated version of the script for 1.5.6 that i'm unable to find?
