I was about to make the same mistake you did, but i asked Eduard just after I ordered, and he was kind enough too explain that the adapter is not compatible with the base. I believe in the next shipment we might be lucky enough tto be able to buy the new adapters.

Well, I don`t know about splitting the developer team or not, but it took almost two years to get some simple 3d-model fixes. So maybe while they are not split, it sure take an insane amount of time to push some simple fixes for this module. And while I understand the theory with alpha launches and all, this module has been moved out of early access for some time now.

Any word on the stock for VKB - EU ? We received no news on the "upcoming" stock, no pre-order has started and no new site has been launched. Is there any chance to have MGC gunfighter, and rudder pedals in stock near the end of march/beginning of april ? Thanks.

Last news for Europe was that gear is supposed to arrive near the end of march. European site, news section was not updated with the delay that was posted on US site. So i`m hoping maybe everything is working according with the plan for the EU market. We will see.. :)

To be very honest, I don`t ever remember this being different. Since release, it has always been like this. I don`t know if this is even a bug. Although it might be a bit inconvenient, at some point, with full zoom in, you can see the target without issues. Especially with the new textures.

But is there anyone actually manning the EU site, cause there is no one answering emails or posts on the forum with questions. So it is a bit concerning what will happen if i buy stuff from this site and i have issues with the gear supplied ?

I know that warthog gimbal by heart, opened it up so many times, it is ok now after i did the fix and add PTFE O-ring, it survived for about 6-7 years. But this stuff from VKB look so much better... I`m sold, just hope they add their stuff on the EU site already, if not gonna have to go for that ALiexpress thing that looks to be a little bit more complicated. Thank you for your feedback guys.

Seems somehow my post got bugged... What i wanted to ask is if you guys are happy with the VKB gunfighter MCG. How difficult is it to create a profile compared to the warthog (target). I`ve only found 1 review on youtube, was wondering how do you find it in terms of interior mechanism compared to the giant warthog gimbal. Does it require constant lubing like the warthog ? Thanks.

I don`t think hydraulic systems are simulated. Try flying over a shilka when he shoots your wings of while going in flames towards the ground there is no change what-so-ever in hydraulics. Damage systems are very rudimentary on the mirage modeled.

I would like to get on gunfighter but i was wondering, is the new version expected to be delivered to the EU shop in the next few months different in anyway than the one on aliexpress posted above. I see there are 2 revisions A, B and now this MCG PRO. I admit i`ve not followed these products untill now and since they are a bit on the expensive side, i don`t want to regret getting the wrong version. Thank you.

It was to be expected that they would focus on fixing harrier. I`ve said it long before they launched harrier that this would happen. And next will be mig19 or whatever project... Mirage will remain a very mediocre product regardless of the fixed FM. There are still buggs that where in the original launched version of 2015...

Thing is harrier is getting released soon and that means the next few months will be focused on the harrier, to fix the ctd`s issues that plane will inevitably have and other game breaking bugs. So i`m guessing that chances are really slim to receive any major mirage fix in the immediate future, and when it comes to implementing missing stuff probably this will never happen. The dev needs money issue is really the biggest nonsense I keep reading on this forum.. EVERYONE needs money, and everyone WANTS money. Can anyone of you, at work, tell your clients: “hey thanks for your money but I need to work on releasing a new product now, i don`t have time to finish your stuff, I`ll come back to you when I have time”? Chances are really high you`ll get sued by the end of the day. Yet here everything is subject to change it does not matter what a developer advertises for pre-order and what it ends up delivering because hey we need to support the devs. If Razbam could not find ONE hour this year to, post one single time in these threads, and say “here`s the list we`re working on” (regarding systems not yet implemented and stuff we are fixing) and offer a decent timeline, how can anyone believe they will waste time on coding missing stuff !? In the two years that went by Razbam was working on fixing mirage and coding the upcoming harrier, and here is the state the mirage is currently at after 2 years. How can you guys believe that in the next years when they will have mirage and harrier while working on whatever else they have coming that anyone will work on adding stuff for mirage ? Don`t the dev`s need money? So they need to focus on a 3rd module… I have been a DCS client since Flanker in 1996 (I still have all the discs) and I have pre-ordered almost all modules (except for trainers, gazelle, and dora that I skipped) and until now I was never disappointed in the money I spend in supporting what DCS was and what DCS will become. But with this Razbam module, and the way I as a client got treated, I am profoundly disappointed. In my opinion mirage is the weakest product on the store page and the product with the worse development support, and communication does not make up for the current state of this product.

For me it is clear, razbam is following the same metal2mesh business plan, and that is get the module out in whatever state take the money move on to the next product and modules are left in forever beta states. Even if they fix some of the stuff that is totally bugged or missing this module will never reach the full fidelity module that it was advertised and for what everyone payed. It is reaching 24 months since release and for the last 12 months nothing changed... This has been discussed to death it really has no point in talking about this any further, it is bugged to death this module, razbam is promising stuff for months now, not even a LIST with stuff they want to fix for this module has been put up officially by razbam just random posts about stuff that is being fixed (aka FM) and nothing about the rest. The rest is all about the harrier which ofcorse will be a way better module.... Vote with your wallets, i know i will, and stick to modules from 3rd parties that deliver, there are lots of modules to choose from...

It is a problem when people like you keep asking for tracks/video with problems that are acknowledged by developers, with stuff that is absolutely clear that it is wrongfully implemented and keep defending a seriously bugged module. I told you this before, I get a feeling you work for Razbam PR team and have a mission to prove that this is the best module out there. For people that know how metal2mesh/razbam operated in other simulators, what is happening to mirage is all to familiar. We are slowly approaching the 2 year mark with a module that has long been out of beta that is seriously lacking in a lot of departments. Meanwhile razbam in pushing out another early access module, this has been posted hundreds of times before and yet the razbam dev team refuses to post a simple thing that would at least for some time calm its client base down. And that is a simple to do list regarding the mirage which is left in an everending beta state. The stuff that got fixed (cockpit and engine inlet poligon count) took them more than 22 months since release, and it is a two day fix for a newby 3d modeler.

Elysian dw mate, the razbam fanbase is going to post soon that you need to post tracks or clips with your issues, and that the module is A-OK. Also don`t forget razbam is really taking care of it`s customer base. Oh i almost forgot Razbam is the best 3rd party dev. Yes i think it`s more than 4 months but who keeps counting, we will get a cool new harrier soon be happy about that. Happy birthday mirage !!!

Well someone has to check if this stuff is implemented as stated by the developer. I didn`t say the hydraulic system is well implemented, Razbam did. So someone has to fact check. With so many things missing it`s hard to set priorities, and atm nothing has changed, despite the many enlightening posts....
