  1. Not sure where to best post this query. The Decimal-Degree data on the F10 map is 7 digits (43*15.345). I thought the typical DD config = (43.1535), with the number of post decimal digits varying with desired degree of accuracy. More importantly, I'm finding that when one converts the Degree-Minute-Second data from the F10 map using DD = degree + (minutes/60) + (seconds/3600), it doesn't correlate with the DD data indicated in the F10 map. I suspect I'm missing something. Any thoughts on this appreciated.

  3. Thank you BIGNEWY. I’ll get you a track if I beat Devrim back to the sim. D’s Thumbnail, however, shows it all. Tracking dot and elevation indicator are frozen as shown. Meanwhile, cargo can be selected, smoke marker generated, and cargo hookable etc... Thanks again. EDIT: Track https://www.dropbox.com/s/p71bbhn7vd5w5ow/tempMission.miz.trk?dl=0
  4. I'm experiencing the same currently. Anybody have any insight on this?
  5. I think that's an easy fix but I haven't been in VR for a long time now. You should inquire in a VR thread.
  6. Agree. The problem is that the Huey “Autopilot” was misnamed from the onset. It should have been named “Copilot Mode”. Indeed, if your DCS Huey copilot is dead, the Autopilot mode is disabled. I don’t feel that wanting the same feature in the Mi8 is unreasonable.
  7. Yes. Just import the ScratchPad profile into your existing VA profile.
  8. As Looney pointed out, RALT \ works both ways.
  9. Check Task Manager (all tabs) to see if DCS is not completely shutting down. Not sure why the PC wouldn’t shut down with DCS runnin.
  10. Try Re-centering Camera [R Control, R Shift, Numpad 5]. If that doesn't work and you're view is still not “centered” when you press [Numpad 5] only, then you’ll need to restore your default snap view. To do this, you need to delete the SnapViews.lua file from the config\view folder. After deleting SnapViews.lua, make a copy of SnapViewsDefault.lua (also found in the same folder), and rename that copy SnapViews.lua. Warning: If you have any saved snap views, this process will remove them as well.
  11. I have camera mounted on top of monitor. My after market IR emitter is attached to my headset. Emitter tilted up, camera down slightly. My eyes are roughly 24” from screen center. No probs at all.
  12. I bought pedals from them. Very solid product and no issues with the process.
  13. Snacko, I noticed you posting on the KneeBoard Builder thread. Doesn’t this utility do that for ya?
  14. Yah, tried VR for a while then came back to curved 65” 4K Samsung. I’m sure VR will come around but, for me, it’s not there yet.
  15. WTF!!! All theses years?? I actually hope it doesn’t work:doh:

  17. Seems to me that QFE could be problematic if landing in an area remote from your takeoff point and at different altitude if you don’t know the QFE at the landing spot.
  18. Very Nice! Thanks. BTW, if you're interested in relocating Radio Menu Top-Center let me know.
