1. Hi guys! As the Jug Template is released, I decided to make some 1st Brazilian Squadron - Jambock - Liveries that were Olive Drab. The Green Thunderbolts are much loved in Brazil by pilots and enthusiasts. I already made 9 of them (and more to come). I will post the links on the posts and in future replies here. This was the first one released: A bit of History: The First Brazilian Fighter Group was created in 1943. The training was performed by the Forward Echelon in Florida, then as a Group in P-40s in Aguadulce, Panama, and Suffolk, New York, flying P-47s. It had a Squadron size. During the World War II , the Group was attached to the 350th Fighter Group in Italy as the 4th squadron (1944-1945). It was based initially in Tarquinia and later in Pisa. Due to low on replacements, the pilots extended the Tour of Duty until the war end. "Jambock" was the callsign used by the Brazilian Fighter Group during the war and still is in used today (flying F-5EM and F-5FM). "Jambock" name has an Indonesian/South African origin (sjanbok or Sambok) and means "animal skin or wood whip". It was a kind of whip. About the liveries: Every livery is as historical and accurate as possible. All of them have a txt with its history. The Patch on the nose means: - Ostrich - Brazilians can take and handle anything; - Hat - The Brazilian Air Force Pilot; - Shield - The Thunderbolt toughness and the Pilot protection; - Blue and the 5 Stars - Brazilian Sky and the "South Cross constellation"; - Pistol - the Jug fire-power; - Cloud - the airspace, "the pilot's floor"; - Red Background - the blood of the Brazilians WIA and KIA; - "Senta a Púa!" - Group Motto and means "Go for it!" in a "free translation"; Later, after the war, it was added a Flak Cloud to represent the enemy AAA. How to install: 1st Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock-'name' folder to your C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\WWII Units\P-47D-30\Liveries\P-47D-30 folder. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and DCS destination folder. 2nd Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock-'name' folder to your C:\Users\"YourUserNameHere"\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\P-47D-30 folder If you don't have that folder, you may create it. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and Saved Games destination folder. Feedback is well accepted. In the future I will update the Jambock Liveries in bare metal. My future plan is to make "Caroco" Kubelwagen (it means seed) and the B-25 Desert Lili (I will use the A-20 for now). I hope you like it! All the best, Sydy
2. Thanks a lot. I had a lot of fun flying it.
3. Looking cool! Any price tag in mind already? Congrats.
4. Scoobie, Tks a lot for your notes. It does make it easier for us. STONE SKY, tks for the campaign. I came back to the MI-8 just because of it. Going to fly mission three. Pretty nice so far! Congrats to both of you, SYdy
5. Hi Rolds, Fixed on vs 1.3, thank you. Sydy
6. Hi guys, Just edited and uploaded the last two movies: On the last movie I lost how I ended up in a chute, but it is good to keep the mystery on the Horrido! Campaign. With that I close this campaign and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in a good WWII environment. It is not an piece of cake campaign. It has some very hard missions, but all doable. Thank you, Reflected! All the best, Sydy
7. Hi guys, Three more movies. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed flying it. Just two movies to edit. All the best, Sydy
8. Hi guys, Here goes some more: This one is 04- I just put a wrong thumbnail. This one is 04b. Tomorrow I will post some more. Sydy
9. Cool! I'm glad you like those as well. At this moment I already edited 11 Horrido! Campaign movies and I will upload it soon. Only 2 two go. Tks for watching.
10. Hi Reflected, thanks! I got lucky somewhat (on the third try)! :-) The true I had to understand how to better use the A8 against the spit... Better technique? RUN! One pass and RUN! If you go for a turn, you're in trouble. Hi splash, thanks. I already made 6 videos (7 to go). I just uploaded the second one. This is the 2nd mission of the DCS - Digital Combat Simulator Fw 190-A8 Horrido! Campaign (by Reflected). Squadron Scramble! with 1 kill (P-47): I will keep posting it. All the best, Sydy
11. Hi guys, As I wrote to Reflected, I just finished the Horrido! Campaign. It was a lot of fun! - Missions are all well planned and doable. - No bugs that may be a deal breaker. - In fact, in all mission, I only found 2 bugs (maybe) on missions 07 and 08 when Abbeville never answered the radio, but no big problem. - Good briefings and enough information to fulfil the missions. - Another A+ campaign. Congratulations. For me, the very first mission was the most difficult. In one of the missions I got one of his baits... Bad for me... LOL (no spoilers) The spits are the most difficult air adversaries. Ponies and Thunderbolts are a match, but doable. A-20s a juice target. B-17 formation, a damn porcupine... Reflected surprised me with that end... He sure did! My final result: I recorded the most important moments and decided to create some mission movies. Here goes the first: U-Boat Escort with 3 kills (A-20s and a Spit). I left the first campaign takeoff and landing on this one. I will remove it on the others, unless something special to show. Target Area at 06:30 and fight start at 09:30. Btw, no voice overs, just the mission as it is. I hope you enjoy it. I will keep feeding this thread as I post the movies on Youtube. All the best, Sydy

I have material to 13 missions... ;-) (no spoilers here neither). Once again, congratulations! All the best, Sydy
13. Hi Eagle, No worries, RL takes a tool on us. Keep it up! All the best, Sydy
14. Hi Reflected, I just started the campaign and I am impressed. The first mission set the pace for the campaign and I found pretty har to fly the A8 in combat. I am going for the third mission. I intend to make some movies about it. I let you know when I make the first. Once again, Congratulations for the immersive enviroment. All the best, Sydy
15. Hi guys, good morning, Well... Without asking too much, any news for a Viper DCE on Syria map, please? Please? Please? Please? LOL Really, I love the DCE campaigns and I am looking forward for the Syria scenario with it. Keep it up! All the best, Sydy
16. I think the best order is 4,6,3,7. Basically inboard first then outboards. It’s probably better for the wing structure.
17. Hi, that's on purpose, like the Hotels in NTTR. ;-)
18. Hi MeatBall, From my experience... They are all AI, of course, and they will try to fulfill their assignments. If you hit the skip mission, they will not “damage” their tgts or perform their tasks, but will count as landed. So, “No Changes” for them nor the ToO situation. I have done my share of “Skipping” on my DCEs. All the best, Sydy
19. May I buy the upgrade the day before it’s released? I love the plane, the module and I’d love to see it upgraded.. Even more if it includes a refueling probe. Don’t shut up, but take my money! :-)
20. Good news! We do need some DCEs on Syria map, specially for the Viper! Tks a lot, guys!
