  1. IMO your comment is not very accurate, Chuck’s guides are a fast, simple and direct way to refresh someone when going from one module to another, or when retaking one after a long period of time or a perfect way to start learning a module and when you master the basics the you turn to the full manual. With his guides you have 20 pages or so to look for that procedure that you might have forgotten not the 600 pages of the manual. Conclusion: his guides are the perfect complement to the manual.
  2. It should clearly be an option, it has no benefit for gameplay and no good reason for being there.
  3. Great guide! I had already reached a few of those conclusions but you have made my life easier for the rest, rep sent.
  4. For me its always Batumi, although i understand that somwhere in Nevada would be more realistic....... Batumi it will be.
  5. Philips 43" monitor , ive had it for a year now and it has replaced my triple monitor setup. Im really happy with 4k 43". I think the only next possible improvement for me personally would be exactly this monitor with at least 100hz or 120hz refresh rate!:)
  6. Thanks for the update and your sincereness, a module from you guys is like a gem, i bought the Viggen just to support but waiting and waiting for the Av-8B made me give it a go and i just cant believe how much fun it has been and how different it is specially most of its type of missions being Sea based, A/G Radar orientated and anti ship missiles wich are a total novelty coming from the A-10C. It has really surprised me and turned the support into a good investment, i just cant wait for your F-14!
  7. When ED finishes everything in the pipeline, then it wouldnt be a bad idea to add a Western trainer at a reasonable price. But we are talking about a few years for so many things to be finished and out of beta.
  8. @Cotoi, what you expose doesnt make much sense to me. Its very simple, in the next few months when this module is out of early acces, then and only then you should go through the module and espose all the things which you think you have been cheated with. Until then its better that you do what everyone sensible does, which is to ask Razbam to implement all the features that you think are missing, the ones you personally want and the ones you consider are incorrect. Then you would actually be helping. Cheers
  9. Great, sounds good. I agree that some training in NTTR will make it more real.
  10. Not my type of bird, but like so many other modules, it might surprise me and as i dont have an acrobatic bird i will purchase my first one and then decide if it is worth it. Best of luck.
  11. I totally agree with OP and sincerely i dont understand all those negative posts, if you cant get excited and be happy about a small hobby then you have a problem. If this was an important political matter or some serious buissnes its logical you shouldnt "eat the hen before you hunt it" but come on its just a hobby, and ED is genuinely making it better!

    Yak-52B?

+1 expressed very well what i think, including hidding away some Legos from my children:). Just one small difference, i end up buying all the modules to support them so one day they make the ones i really want and after i get all those, my idea is to keep supporting them until they make all the maps i want..... and so on until they make a full world map i suppose;)
  13. Thankyou ED for all these years of making our dream come true. I will do my part and try to keep up with all the great modules that keep on coming for DCS! We are simply getting spoilt by choice but i have to say that i bought a few modules only to support and then found out that they are also enjoyable in their own way. By the way i still keep my DVD copy of Lock On as a treasure.

    Yak-52B?

@vparez Personally i think that all the new features of DCS2.5 + F/A-18(all the years in development) is not going to compensate them as a business model even if they sell this module for 100€. Its obvious that they are getting a big chunk from their military contracts, so with that said just think of it as the Yak52 is an "easier module" for them to develop and produce in which they simply get a better margin, so the more people buying it, more is being paid for future complex modules and terrains. I doubt anyone believes that 100€ can pay for an F/A-18 module to the DCS Standard.
  15. AV-8B in numerical format would be A=1 , V=22 , 8=8 , B=2, therefore : 12282 which equals to 12/28/2... = 28 December 2018 :megalol:
  16. Thanks, such a nice aircraft hopefully flyable on day.
  17. +1 , I think that's a great idea:thumbup:
  18. :megalol: Imagine... 1 A10-C vs 100 Yak52s... could be fun.
  19. That doesnt mean those promises will never be delivered, only that they are not delivered initially. Modules are a "living thing" they are continously being changed, in most cases for the better.
  20. Great!! Pre-purchased, now the long wait.
