  1. After a fresh install of windows, and DCS, my backslash "" key to open the coms menu wasn't working. I went in the key binding menu, and tried to bind a key to it, but DCS is detecting the backslash key as a right square bracket "]" It's also detecting the right square bracket key, as a left squarebracket "[" And finally, if I try to bind something to left square bracket, it detects it as "AT" The keys work just fine in windows, and any other programs. My windows language is set to English (United States) Does anyone know how I can get DCS to detect the keys correct? I tried deleting my config folder but that didn't help any. Additionally, it appears that the = key is detected as "prev" and the ` key is detected as Kanji... It's like DCS has the wrong keyboard language selected. Did another format of the computer, fresh install of windows and DCS, and same issue...
  2. Heya everyone. Returning old time DSC player here. Used to play back in the days that Flaming Cliffs 3 came out, still have those CDs in a box somewhere... But then my old HOTAS died, and life happened, and you know how it goes. Anyways, now i'm getting my feet wet again. Really enjoying the new Hornet currently. Basically still pretty awful at the momment, but improving! Located in the Eastern US time zone, and play a few hours in the evening a couple nights a week, and on the weekends when nothing else is going on. I consider myself to be a fairly competitive/semi-casual player. Any loss is an opportunity to improve! I'd say fly safe, but where's the fun in that?
  3. I leave mine connected, but close down both the Steam VR, and Windows Mixed Reality portal programs. This seems to turn off the headset, and I haven't had any problems with it not working when picked up. The only problem I have had is with lateral movement not working correctly sometimes. ie side-to-side or up-down movement. Looking left, right, up or down all work fine, but lateral movement makes the cockpit move as well. Rebooting the computer seems to correct this, so it's mostly just annoying.
  4. Thank you for this thread! Thank you for this thread! I picked up a HP Reverb over the weekend, and for the first two days, it was a case of "This is amazing!!! But sucks at the same time" Now after tinkering with these settings provided by this tool, it's just flat out amazing!
  5. I'm not sure about the other games, but for the A-10C there's a campaign listed as (whatever it's called) with CA. I'm assuming that's there because I have the Combined Arms expansion as well. Anyways, all of those missions are cold starters.
