  3. While ppl in other planes will laugh and have an edge in this. Its nonsense. Shouldnt be for MP at all. Only as an option. MP is competition.

  6. You must be kidding me. They promised F14D and F14A-95 which never happened in RL...Besides who would buy almost the same plane two times?. Aerges was very fair with so many Mirage F1 variants they released as promised. Do I enjoy heatblurs F14? Yes, its great module. But serious business is making promises a real thing! @exhaustedQ: Will there be a Navy F-4? A: Yes! Our Phantom journey only begins with the -E. However, owing to the complexity of the work and investment of time and effort, it will not be included in the DCS: F-4E product.   7. Navy version was the one we heard stories about. It was THE PHANTOM. Im surprised they went with the E variant. Not to mention it was said (not promised) it will be a separate module one day but I really doubt it will ever happen....its a shame.
  8. FYI, after v2.9 visual problems are almost not noticable with mt.exe as long as Im using MSAA 2X. DLSS and even DLAA (less) have same visual issues. "Ghosting"/"trailing" behind planes in motion, blurred planes at distances further than 2nm. For quick check you can just use external fly by view and you will see plane blurred and when it comes closer it suddenly is clear and sharp.
  9. Everything is said in the topic. Discord is screaming about it. DLSS gives FPS boost 60 for me but planes are stil ghosting and blurred at distances. Tried every possible settings. Im using RTX3060Ti with latest nvidia drivers. Good news is that MT.exe with MSAA 2X is now almost clean of visual bugs (still some blur at distances but barely noticable). Before 2.9 it had same visual issues as v2.9 with DLSS. DLAA doesnt give huge FPS boost (if any) but has less noticable blur/ghosting). Tried with ultra clouds and aniso 4X,8x,16X. Textures at high. 1440p resolution on gsync monitor. Im aware that DLSS along with the FPS boost brings a lot of visual drawbacks which are more noticable in flight sims than in other games. Maybe it will improve in the future. I want to thank devs for great update in general.

  11. I hope Jester v2.0 would be a noticable better in every way. Currently its a mess sometimes and under 15m he is more or less stupid calling enemies as friendlies from 4 miles etc.
  12. Your welcome. Just a small suggestion. buffeting effects in cockpit etc. should be as an option (under special settings) since its not present in all modules and could be troublesome for our older folks cheers
  13. Hi I wont droll long. Im into simming since 90s, went through all of them. Literally. Last few years Im back into DCS (was there when MP was crap in many ways). I tried almost all modules and bought alot. F14 trial I left for the end. Because....suggar for the end. I dont know where to start. Cockpit is the best out there, most detailed and spot on. Sounds also. Buffeting is spot on and I think not existand in any other module (at least to that level). FM feels believable though I never flew real F14. Its gorgeous plane. And a legend, ofcourse. Carriers are something special in this sim. Immersion. F14 will be insta buy next sale. Now I cant wait for F4. BTW most of my flying time I was playing WW2 planes (in all sims). But I think early/late cold war jet era is kinda sweet spot in DCS for many reasons. Cheers Tvrdi Disclaimer: Im very aware of the bugs, some missing stuff, some limitations etc. But thats a game, right? Nothing can be perfect. Its best what we have.

  16. Whos decision was not to include trial? This should be a demand from DCS. I never bought a terrain without trying it. And it seams that trials arent a thing lately as many new stuff is without trial.

  20. I noticed visual bug (stuttering "lagging planes contacts") in MP, specially when they are further away but still in visual range. That is not present in non MT version. I noticed that on all servers, no matter how busy they are and in non MT version all is OK.
  21. You just like to complicate things right? Not that Im not interested in RL figures but thats pointless here since in DCS we have different situation with current modules compared to RL figures of those planes. Dont make me explaning everything (discussed to death already) because I would be bashed by die hard fans just like I was bashed in some past sims Ive been playing during my super long sim career (simming since 90s). So my question was. How will DCS F15E MODULE compare in close fights (also turning fights) vs F16 and F18 DCS MODULES. I know we cant know for sure as it isnt relaeased yet, but I was just asking the simple innocent question. Nothing deep behind it. If you cant answer just type "I dont know". That would be ok too. Hint: maybe a current F15C (even tohugh its FC3 module) can be a comparing guideline. cheers
  22. Guys what do you think. How will our F15E stand in close turning dogfights? Compared to F16 ad F18? Im asking only and only about DCS planes, not in RL. Im not interested in figures from RL because obviously we are not flying those in the sim. What I know is that F15E would be fast, would be good for long to medium AtoA engagements, but what about close dogfights? Sustained turns? One cirlce turn? Etc. Why Im asking this? Because the E variant wasnt built solely for air dominance, the C was made for that. The fact is that AtoA is still the most popular amongst any flight sim community Im affraid there will be some disappointed preordering dudes who are not going to do AtG jobs often, if ever.
  23. And you are surprised. Close dogfights are fun. Not that they would happen often in RL (but who knows if WW3 comes (hope not) with all the numbers in the air) but this is still a game (sim). TBH I stopped playing at "fox3 servers". I much more enjoy cold war setting where we have only sparrows and earlier sidewinders. Or that one with even earlier stuff like R60s etc. Often there is close fight and not so rare cannon kills. Its a game, have fun. I never enjoyed my AMRAM kills. Never. I feel like Im playing some strategic game. Shoot, wait, evade, pitbull, escape. And then maybe you will see in chat text if you killed someone. I admire if that is fun for someone. Guess which server is the most popular in DCS (not counting growling sidewinder comedy)? With that said you should try warbirds guys, its all sweat and pain. But also a reward. Its fun.
