  1. Thanks for your effort, Morpheus. Just as REDEYE has stated - I have devoted all my free time to the Caucasus map. I will probably update my other mods once that is finished.
  2. I've made changes to some of the LUA files responsible for rendering. I bet they also affected the trees rendering distance. I've recently spent some time playing with the mountainous regions. Here are the results:
  3. The map runs on the old version of the engine, so I imagine nothing else can be done to improve it.
  4. Not yet. There's still a lot to be done. I want this version to be different, more authentic. Unfortunately, I can only play with the textures and not with the landclass itself - so when something looks nice in one part of the map, it doesn't look that good in the other. Looking for compromise sadly takes a lot of time.
  5. It is difficult to estimate when the mod will be available. There is still a lot of work to be done but I will keep you guys updated.
  6. I'm a real-life pilot myself too and all I can do is agree with you! In Poland, generally in Europe, the fields look totally different. However, when playing with the mod, I take satellite photos of Georgia as the reference. Here's an example of that region:
  7. Another take on the fields - still not satisfied with the result but hey, that looks interesting. And yes - the grass is back.
  8. Bad news. I can't use this particular method - the grass stops being generated, unfortunately.

  10. I've discovered a completely new method of depicting farmlands in our beloved Caucasus. Took more than one week of reverse engineering but was worth it!

  15. Hello. I've been playing this fantastic mission for like 2 years now, adapting it to my personal needs (possibility to play it on both sides of the conflict, adding more targets, etc). My dream would be to enhance it even further so that I can simulate a full scale conflict on the Persian Gulf or Syria map. My question is this - would it be possible to include STATIC objects in the set of blue/red targets? Currently, there are categories like: SAM, ARMOR, AIR DEFENCE, ARTILLERY and SUPPORT. It would be great to have the possibility of adding another category to the script like "BUILDINGS" and AI flights performing pinpoint strikes against them. Is something like that technically possible? Again, thank you for sharing this brilliant mission! Barthek
