1. They'll only be at the Flaming Cliffs level. They aren't allowed to go further.
2. I've had a good track recently. Maybe it's fixed!
3. If they can do better then I'm sure they will. It's just about WHAT can be done verses what everyone wants...
4. Somebody wants to play Marine Corp!!! :)
5. I haven't noticed that, but I'll take a look at it again.
6. Thank you guys for the sound update on jets, and whatever else you have done. I'd like to know how many channels you have for external sounds from each engine and if there are channels assigned to the airframe moving through the air.
7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVJfPls_ZkE
8. This is what is required. There was no bug. It's just a procedural error on my part. you absolutely have to put the idle cut-off lever back down once you get past idle to keep the throttle from going back to cut-off. Thanks, Case closed! NOT A BUG!
9. Folks. Post the bugs you find here. I (Zeus67) will keep this thread closed so I can put a list of known issues and bugs to be fixed. * Changing Radio 1 - Channel 1 frequency to any value below 225 Mhz AM. ED will check this issue. * MPCD Export Problem when using multiple displays. * Nozzle control lever movement using mapped key binds. * Cold and Dark mission text message. * FPS problems on some equipment. * 4th gear not deploying for AI aircraft. * Wheel brakes effectiveness. * Landing gear voice warning continuing after condition stops. * Fuel dump bug. * Nozzle movement shouldn't be allowed until bleed pressure available. * TM Warthog throttle to full idle position the engine turns off * IR/EO Mavericks return to STBY/COOL DOWN mode after selecting another weapon. He already said this in the "Known Issues" section...
10. I too assigned the engine cut off to the full back position on my Warthog. It didn't solve the problem! Every time I pulled the throttle back to idle the engine would quit. I had to do a manual solution by tuning the Y-Axis on the throttle to 90%. Anymore would still kill the engine when I pull it to idle. I still think this shouldn't be required and something needs to be figured out about it. BTW, I'm using DCS World Beta.
11. I'm not sure if everyone has seen this, but it's very interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QG_bgVvXtsk
12. The Warthog has physical gates that go from idle to off. You have to lift the throttles up and pull the throttles over and back into the engine off position, which activates a button press that is used on the A-10C module to turn the engines off. It also has a removable gate that simulates going from mil power to AB, or if you turn it around it doesn't stop the throttle from advancing all the way to full power. As it stands with the AV-8B, all I have to do is pull it back to the idle gate and the engine cuts-out. It seems kind of dangerous if the real aircraft doesn't have a mechanism (gate) to keep the throttle from going into engine cut-off. Perhaps the module is missing a gate or action that prevents the throttle from going all the way back to engine off mode?
13. I'm not sure if this is an issue or not, but when I put my TM Warthog throttle to full idle position the engine turns off. I don't know how to fix this...
14. This was one of the posted "known Issues." If you'd read that section first then you wouldn't waste your time expressing about it...
15. My hope is for great continued success for Eagle Dynamics!
16. I've also had the experience of flying in a Lear jet with Navy contractors working with real GCI Controllers vectoring us towards another Lear jet that was playing the Bandit. We were at 24k ft and he was at 25k ft. We we were to report, "tally bandit" when we saw him. Even knowing our relative altitudes and four pairs of eyes, including a retired Navy F-18 pilot, still had us only spotting the bandit at less than a mile.
17. I saw a picture of a B737 at one of the gates in Tbilisi.
18. We need the same aircraft as fly into Tbilisi Airport...B737, A321, etc... BTW, this is the entire Georgian Air Force. Su-25's - 11 An-28's - 2 Mi-8's - 15 Mi-14's - 2 Mi-24's - 9 UH-1's - 12 L-39's - 4 L-29's - 4 There is an annual military exercise that now takes place in Georgia involving the US and some NATO allies called Noble Partner...google it...
19. I think it would be useful to have AI aircraft that can be tasked to fly more than one sortie per mission. They go out fly their mission, come back and land taxi in, get refueled and armed and fly out again as many times as tasked to do or until they get shot down or damaged. Or, airliners can land, taxi in, load passengers and take-off again...
20. I wonder why they didn't bother with putting one in? It's the most basic piece of equipment there is!
21. Chimney Smoke can be seen through solid overcast.
