  1. That's exactly the kind of dilemma I'm in. Have the cv1 now and casual flying is a joy. However it really is tiresome to use the hornets mfd's for longer flights og I just need a bit more clarity to make the VR superb. Now index vs reverb g2. FOV vs clarity. Anybody coming from cv1 or similar to an index and found the clarity sufficient to read all information on the mfds in the hornet or viper? Maybe moved from an index to reverb g2 and despite the reduced FOV the clarity is just too important to pass? On a 1080ti now, will upgrade to 3080ti when avalible. The VR headset will be used for dcs and msfs2020 only. Best regards
  2. Sounds just like the problem i’ve had with AAR in the hornet. Even if the probe would be dead on the basket it just would NOT hook up. I almost gave up until i decided to check my key bindings, before i used the binding “probe control switch - Extend/retract” where the same button press both raises and lowers the probe. For somme strange reason, at least for me, this keybind will cause the probe to NOT hook up to the basket properly. Instead I tried “probe control switch- up” and “probe control switch- Down” so that a different button is used for raising and lowering the probe. First Attemp with this config - a solid hook up and never had a problem since. Might be worth a shot.
  3. Just a quick note for anyone considering Deltaalphalime1's Warthog Slew upgrade. Install was easy and it took about 2 seconds to get use to the new slew control, and what a difference it makes. The slew control is touch sensitive with virtually no movement which makes it really easy to control the radar cursor. A giant leap compared to the old warthog slew control. It may not be the cheapest upgrade, but in my opinion well worth it.
  4. adaptor for the moongoose base I too thought of using the bottom plate as the only way to secure the base. I highly doubt it will stand up to years of abuse though. A solution to the problem of centremounting the mongoose base could be this: I ordered a 10 mm alu L-profile 200mmx100mm (width 110, same as the warthog base ) and cut it to shape. It bolts to the warthog bottom plate(which is secure to my centremount), and the Mongoos base bolts firmly to the "adaptor" and does NOT move a millimeter now. Now it just needs a paint job.
  5. Hi Cyph3r I understand the preorders of the Mongoose Base are about to be delivered, but how long af a wait would you roughly estimate for new orders? Best regards Voucher
