Regarding the log book, it has been broken for ages. It is a shame because it is nice to be able to actually track your stats accurately. I wouldn't expect it to be fixed until after EDGE comes out, so "they" say. :doh:

My biggest suggestion is to trim and trim. Try to anticipate the nose pitching up with generous amounts of down trim.

By starting your rotation early you are extending the amount of take off roll needed to get airborne. Start your rotation later and the jet comes off the ground right around 280 fully loaded with fuel and weapons

I have noticed that in the same missions with the same wind the the warning may or may not appear. I have found that if you edit our payload or skin in the mission editor before you "Fly" the warning won't appear.

The plane is some how indicating a climb when he is pitched down?

As the community eagerly awaits the release of EDGE, it has become apparent that many things in DCS World and its associated modules have fallen into a state of disrepair and neglect. Bugs from the AI, ATC, and all other modules have for the most part been ignored and still remain unfixed. Obvious game changing and breaking bugs across many facets of the sim. (The fact that AI vehicles are unable to even cross bridges at this point is a big one) (Want to record your flights in the logbook? Good luck). At any time whenever the community brings these issues up, the response is always more or less the same, the developers have no time to fix them because they are working on EDGE. I assume we all want EDGE and are looking forward to what it can provide, but at what cost to the current and future state of the series? Will the release of EDGE fix these problems? When will EDGE be released anyway? Of course we will not get a response to these types of questions as for whatever reason ED feels that communicating to its customers is not an effective customer service strategy. The fact that the community has been waiting in the dark for months and months regarding getting the game fixed is certainly frustrating. Knowing that many obvious annoying bugs in the sim will not be fixed at least until EDGE is released or even until some point after makes the situation worse. It has been stated that we should not expect any bug fixes or repairs to the game until EDGE gets released. EDGE is not going to be released until closer to the end of the year if not later. Is it time to just shelve DCS until EDGE comes out? Does any one else feel alienated by the current process?

Is anyone else unable to maintain level flight without trimming manually or using the stick with any amount of wind? Currently whenever there is any amount of wind the PTC or whatever system does not seem to be keeping it level for me. If I am not mistaken, it should be compensating for the wind correct? In a mission without wind it stays level. Also using Takeoff trim makes the aircraft un-flyable.

In real life, does the the Aircraft not feed an update using its GPS sytem to the INS on the bomb regarding the targets location? I am not stating it is a GPS guided weapon.

That's what gives them that designation in the first place. Without the WCMD( Wind Corrected Munition Dispenser) kit they are just CBU-87s or CBU-97s

The CBU-87 is cluster bomb which drops unguided nonsensored submuntions effective against infantry and light skinned vehicles. The CBU-87 becomes a CBU 103 when you put a WCMD kit onto the bomb. The CBU-97 is a sensor fuzed cluster bomb which employs sensor fuzed bomblets which search for infrared targets effective against armored targets and vehicles. The CBU-97 becomes a CBU-105 when a WCMD kit is applied to it. The WCMD attempts to guide the bomb using INS and GPS.

I have tried this except with 60 and it does not work. It did in 1.27. I have ran a repair install, remade the file, and checked folder/file permissions for the file as well and its like it is ignored.

Currently the Maxfps constraint in the graphics.cfg does not work. Setting a constraint has no effect on capping the FPS. This is also true when using an autoexec.cfg file. The FPS cap functionality of the graphics and any autoexec.cfg is currently broken, and often between versions they stop working.

This has been on the to do list for a VERY long time. In fact, since last summer I recall an ATC over haul being a major point of effort specifically outlined in a patch. At any rate the instability and hit or miss of the ATC and JTACS is absurd.

I can confirm the MAXFPS constraint in the graphics.lua no longer works. I have re-added my desired max fps into the file, and the game has no issue with going higher than that constraint.

I can confirm that AWACS no longer responds to bogey dope or any requests at all in the f-15 campaign.

That would be a terrible move. The summer sale thread states it will be $29.99 until June 30th, and the graphics on the site list it at $29.99 too. Honestly at this point, I don't care what the cost of the game is, I just want them to take my money already for crying out loud

Can not purchase Flaming Cliffs 3 As the title states, there is no way to add Flaming Cliffs 3 to the shopping cart in the e-shop. Clicking the "buy now" link takes one to the product page where one adds items to the cart. Flaming Cliffs 3 is not there. Is it still for sale?
