  1. I purchased Mig-21 and it gave me some kind of loop error. I found the only way to fix it was to reinstall DCS World. I did so.

DCS World now functions but I can't install other modules given the following error:

    Can't install Mig-21BIS 1.2.14.35513 into new DCS World 1.2.14.35605. Please, download Mig-21BIS 1.2.14.35605 installer.

The problem is I can't download 35605, its not on the website.

The same problem exists with FC3 as well. I have not downloaded other modules to confirm.

    HELP!!

  2. Most of the information to be found is from Youtube. Not a bad thing but not official.

Its not overly hard to get onto it, but it takes some time.

Combat is harder than say an F-15 but easier or the same as the Mustang in my mind.

I guess you have to keep in mind that its a beta. I don't mind working through its rough spots because I wanted to fly it and now I can.

  3. Ok, lets give this a solid talk.

I tried your solution and it did not work.

I also am a Microsoft Certified Professional, Certified Systems Engineer, A+Tech, etc etc etc.

It is not a driver issue because after reinstall the drivers work very well. I tried two OS's on two different machines, both worked. Again its an IRQ problem.

I tried both with a HUB and without before reinstall, it did not function. After reinstall I used an unpowered HUB with great success. Still do.

  4. Not true ShuRugal.

The problem that people are having is related to the IRQ's associated with the USB controllers.

Back in the day it wasn't that hard to fix this type of thing but the newer OS's don't allow for the higher level changes required to do so that I am aware of.

Reinstalling an OS may seem like a big job but in the end your system will run better anyway given your registry has become filled with bits of programs that have been installed and uninstalled a hundred times.

If you want it to function, take my advice. Otherwise, feel free to spend countless days/weeks/months toying around with uninstalling the Saitiek software, it won't work.

  5. Yes get the warthog. There will always be people saying they break easy and stuff and use cheap plastics but you get the same with every product out there. If you look after it it will look after you. Simple as that really. Also where are these people getting this info from? I am sure thrustmaster would not tell anyone they were building stick with broken parts even if they were?? Just seems a bit daft to me. I also own a thrustmaster t500rs wheel and pedals and have been using them for over a year and not a problem with it.. Thrustmaster all the way

I'm getting it from personal experience. I had the Cougars and although I thoroughly enjoyed using them they did break and it was a cheap plastic part that went. I'd buy TM's again but with the understanding they are no higher quality than CH or Saitek and will cost twice as much. I do like them but they are not higher quality.
