  1. I changed my order to a 128 gig. 2. How large of a SSD would be needed for DCS alone? With all modules. I have a empty 64 gig, would that be large enough?
  3. The auto start in the KA 50 will not turn the flare panel on. You need to use the switch.
  4. Yes, I also fly with my gear down when doing a low and slow SEAD opp and when I am avoiding the CAP in the canyons. When you bump the ground you will limit damage. It also helps to avoid the F15's and other fighters because you can hide, land and shutdown faster. Fly until you can maneuver the Shark without thinking about it, it will become automatic. This is very important because you will have many other things to attend to. Cooper
  5. Welcome New Pilots With all of the new players from steam and new people discovering DCS I think some of us that have been flying for a few years should do what we can to help new people. New players need to understand that a crowded multiplayer server is not a good place to learn basic operation of your aircraft. Typing and flying do not mix, especially in an airspace full of bandits. I have been flying the Shark for a few years, I am by no means an expert, but I would like to help new people and give them some tips that I have learned over the past few years. I will set up a private server and we can practice. You must have Teamspeak and a configured HOTAS, a printed copy of the key commands and TrackIR would also help. I am disabled and would be available almost anytime. I am in the US Central time Zone Send me an email and we can set up a time to fly Cooper :pilotfly:
  6. In referance to the confermed kills. I fly the KA 50, I like to attack airports, some times I will hit a jet with a few cannon rounds and they get away. Later they will be downed by another jet, and I will get the kill. Seems strange to me Cooper
  7. Would this be better than the first system? Upgrade case, mobo, and power. Had to get rid of the SSD and lower RAM to save $. I want the 4gig 760 for multi monitor. This still should be upgradeable and a large improvement from my current PC. · CAS: CFI Taiji Full-Tower Gaming Case w/ 1x 140 & 2x 120mm Fans, Front USB 3.0, HDD Easy Swap Bays & Side-Panel Window · CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4670K 3.40 GHz 6MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150 (All Venom OC Certified) · CS_FAN: Maximum 120MM Case Cooling Fans for your selected case · FAN: Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling system w/ 240MM Radiator and Dual Fans · HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive) · MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory Patriot Viper III · MOTHERBOARD: * [CrossFireX/SLI] ASUS Z87-Pro Intel Z87 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ Wi-Fi GO!, Ai Charger+, 7.1 HD Audio, Intel GbLAN, 3 PCIe x16 (2 Gen3, 1 Gen2) & 4 PCIe x1 (All Venom OC Certified) · OS: Microsoft® Windows 8 (64-bit Edition) · POWERSUPPLY: * 850 Watts - Cooler Master Silent Pro M 80 Plus Power Supply · VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 4GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA
