WIP it's been a while since I posted anything about what we've been doing, and we've been doing a lot! we now have multiple professional test pilots with many thousands of hours experience that have been test flying the heck out of our airplane. We have redone some externals fix some things, are creating a entirely new internal cockpit. And even more refinements to the EFM flight model to the limits of what DCS can handle. We took a brief hiatus in order to lend a hand with the VARS edge 540 racing project which is now released. So now back to work on what we believe will be the premier aerobatic aircraft of DCS ! Don't ask when it will be released. enjoy some new screenshots of WIP
  4. I hope then you will really love our mod it has an advanced EFM flight model as well as other "goodies" we have had some very "pro" Extra pilots flight testing for us since the beginning and were happy with what we've achieved so far but plans are to make it even better
  5. I was working on an A4 separate from the community project. I actually had a contract for it but it was canceled at the last minute for licensing issues. The aircraft modeling was complete as it had been flying in x-plane where it was originally developed. even though I don't have any affiliation with the community A4 (other than busting their chops) those guys did an amazing job with that mod.

So go take your Fake news opinion someplace else. The aircraft is being worked on. And perfected. And flown. And will be released at some point. So go troll somebody else and stop spreading bald-faced lies.
  8. Eagle dynamics is very difficult to contact. Every time I've asked for contact information on these forums I've been met with resistance. So if you have contact information for ED you can email me directly or contact me through discord.
  9. 1st, let it be known We (JazAero designs and DXM engineering) did not authorize nor are we officially affiliated with this petition. Secondly You are referencing a video from a 3rd party that in all likelihood , is in violation of our IP. And was unauthorized and using a pre-alpha version of our work not released to the public. We understand you mean well and that your intentions are noble and we are flattered. But this is not the way to go about getting the word out
  10. It's not a mod, and it's not a module, it is a project in development !! Don't be insulted, but it bugs me when people think they're doing something noble, providing information they have no knowledge of. Your heart might be in the right place , but unless you have firsthand knowledge of the development. You should not make posts like this. If people want This as a module they need to contact ED and tell them! The more people who show a demand for the product, the more ED will be inclined to provide us with a contract for that product. I am flattered that people want to pay for a module based on this aircraft. We certainly think it's good enough. And were backed up by our professional test pilots. But unless people show a demand directly to Eagle dynamics, there is no motivation for them to work with us. So if you really want This as module, tell ED about it and make sure you mentioned that it is "us" JazAero designs a.k.a. DXM engineering who is developing it. In the meantime work will continue and it will just get better and better.
  11. The team got together and A lot of work was done over the holiday On flight model improvements. Unfortunately, 3D modeling, took a backseat, as I was taken ill to the emergency room in late December. I am fully recovered now and eager to get back to work. I'm also quite involved in testing some new software Currently, alpha trials, :-) and that's also eating away at my time. But as I stated work does continue and we are making progress and it is looking absolutely Amazing!. We continue to receive great feedback from our excellent team of flight testers. These pilots have taken time out from their real-world flying schedules to lend their expertise to this project. And the results will absolutely show that. So once again, thank you for everyone for your support. And stay tuned !
  12. SFM is the base flight model from way back in the FC3 days and is used now in AI, I believe ED is phasing out SFM for user created content. Technically speaking, all flight models are EFM, my understanding is ED reserves PFM designation for their in-house aircraft. Maybe someone from ED can clarify this? There has always been some confusion in the higher end flight models as to what the actual "technical" differences are.
  13. Development continues on the Extra 330, the aircraft is currently in alpha flight testing and our test pilots continue to provide us with excellent feedback on all aspects of our flight model. Which allows us to constantly improve.   17. We ran another series of Extra 330 flight tests. The person flying it is this time is @larouss. He demonstrates the capabilities of the aircraft to fly a precise aerobatic routine. which he demonstrated drawing from his real-world flying experience and it shows.More importantly it shows the potential of where we are at with the improvements to our flight model.!   18. Yes, a version of the aircraft is scheduled to fly in VFAT, on Saturday. The person flying it is a member of the virtual black jet team, but he will be performing as an independent solo, the aircraft he's using is a much older version that uses a placeholder 3D model. We decided the model is not ready yet for VFAT and will not be performing
  19. Work continues on this mod. We had to take some time off to take care some real-world situations. But were back. We had some real-life extra pilots flight testing and giving us very good feedback on our performance vs. the real world aircraft. And we continue to make adjustments to the flight to model. The 3D work continues with the externals models and animations being complete and moving to texture. While we continue to work on the cockpit. In the meantime, enjoy some of the screenshots rendered from Max. There certainly prettier than the ones you get from DCS. The paint scheme is a custom paint, we plan to release a paint kit with the aircraft . For those of you who want to go nuts
  20. Could you outline the steps for doing that? It's one thing to tell a person that they can't do something, or that it needs to be done a certain way, but if you know how it can be done, it would not take but a minute of your time to share that information. Why must it be so difficult to get direct answers to questions in this community? It just so happens I have a similar situation, and I am aware of the custom user arguments (we are using an EFM argument ##) , but beyond that, what are the basic requirements . The user guide is vague. And cites no direct examples. For instance, how are the visibility arguments linked to the animation arguments on a given propeller? Can you even have multiple arguments on a single animation? Do the custom arguments have to be programmed the same for AI aircraft as well as the user flown aircraft ? Or can these use the standard argument #40 in conjunction with the custom argument , These things are certainly not covered in the user guide. I was able to find this post regarding visibility, but it needs further clarification Regards to propellers https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2711246&postcount=2 So any pearls of wisdom you can share in this issue would be greatly appreciated.
  21. here , then is my "official" report list . I don't know if you know this stuff I would just bring it to your attention. I'm a 3D model maker. This is my area of expertise and what I can confidently report on. I'll let others report on flight models. Or missing cockpit to do dads there are modeling errors on the underside of the wings inboard near the fuselage looks like missing vertices there are errors in the animation of the turkey feathers there are errors in smoke generation clipping through the aircraft fuselage from the gun there are lighting errors were shadows are not being generated on the underside of the aircraft and objects appear to be in full light there are lighting errors on the chaff and flare dispensers were light is shining through the dispenser tubes. There are missing animations of the compressor there are missing vapor animations on the intake leading edges (subjective) there is a lot of detail missing from inside the wheel wells, hydraulic accumulators, filter canisters, hoses, etc. the cockpit interior is flat and lacks definition. Objects appear very low poly and flat shaded. Hopefully this all gets fixed in the future,
