  1. Left shift and F10 for labels toggle. As for finding targets JTAC is your best friend. If there no JTAC available then fly low and use your mk1 eyeball. Like someone else said move ya head about and look around aslong as you have clear weather. If using TGP then use black hot or white hot.
  2. To map buttons like the scroll wheel you have to use the saitek mapping program from their website. I have my scroll wheel for my zoom. That program can be tricky, so keep fidling with the settings of said mapped buttons.
  3. haha , was thinking of practising formation flying :helpsmilie:
  4. Is this 60 odd mb patch a hotfix or am i already far to drunk?
  5. Hey guys need some help if ok. I just started this campaign and on my second attempt of the 1st misison (startup, taxi, shutdown) i failed on the shutdown "turning off radios", which i did too. Im thinking i didn't turn them off at the correct time maybe? Thanks... edit...Flicked switch in wrong position lol
  6. Sorry for dragging up old post, but this is a great help, thank you.
  7. go into windows start - program files - easgle dynamics...then click update
  8. Did you download DSC world from here? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world/ And is it updated... Make sure you have ports open 10803, i think...
  9. I got p51 in sale too. Like someone said shame about the lack of combat mission, but im spending so much time learning how to fly it lol. Bit different from the A10. Taxi was a hard one for me untill i realise its best to use left or right break to tight turn. Taking off wasn't so hard......but landing, oh my god.
  10. Tunguska's are buggers for that. I try to fly 20,000 above them and drop a JDAM on their heads.
  11. As you said in op there is an inflight align option, if you use that you can align while finishing start up procedure, taxiing and flying. So you dont have to sit and wait for 4 mins.
  12. Hey guys, when i was a little boy all those years ago (35 now lol) i remember trying to react my favourite film at the time Top Gun. What i did was get a cardboard box bigger enough for me to sit in, painted inside too look like an F14 Tomacat with my cassette player playing the Top Gun soundtrack, and away i went. DCS A10 has allowed me to relive my childhood memories lol :) This is my 1st video i ever made for anything, so i apologise for the lack of snazzyness, but if you got a spare 20 mins you don't mind wasting then watch away:) Anyways thnx ED for the best sim ever made, and thnx DCS community for the countless you youtube videos, missions, mods and general help :)
  13. Yep i got that thnx :) although 1st couple of codes i made up didn't work at first, but then 1588 worked and gbu's hit their targets fine. Tnx for the help guys....
  14. Well that explains it, learn something new every day. Thank you very much Nirvi :)
  15. Hey guys, first off thnx for taking time to read. Here is the situation. I've been flying A-10 for quite a while now, however most of my time has been solo (AI wingman). Last week I persuaded my friend to buy it. We been flying missions togeather with no problems untill yesterday. We are flying in very tight formation approaching two seperate targets and both of us have GBU 12 armed. Profile is set to CCRP mode with 10sec lase time and auto lase on. He has his targret marked with spi, and same with me. We both drop bombs at the same time, however instead of my GBU hitting my target it hits his. So is there a way to stop my GBU getting confused and hitting my own target instead of his? Bra1n
  16. Epic mission, thank you very much. My first attempt (solo) i managed to destroy most targets, then i got the call for targets moving out from Northbridge. I set myself up for a gun strafe, ran in and took out 2 soft targets then bellyflopped lololol. Will try with my friend later today :) Thanks again to all mission makers for your time and outstanding effort.
  17. Thnx for the update Quirk. I just managed to complete mission 4 using set loadout. Was a tough one lol trying to get my wingman to target the vehicles leftover from my bombing run. Managed to complete on my 3rd attempt. Another great mission, thnx again.
  18. So far iv'e completed 2 missions on the single player version. I must say impressive job you've done. Fist mission kill the infantry, completed no problem, dropped a cbu-87 and boom dead. Second mission i had few problems with but was a good challenge. My CBU-97's kept missing my first targets and i wasn't using my wingman as i should, cus so far i've never really needed too. I kept running out of weapons. This mission taught me how to use wingman effectively. After several attempts i managed to complete it after a dodgy landing. So thnx again for this campaign, hopefully more will come :)
  19. Thank you for this, it gives me something to do on my last day off work.
