Any Recommendations on the graphic settings? grass, Trees visibility? Shadows?

My Experience with Bad FPS When I fly the Georgian Oil war first missions, over the coast , I get low FPS about 28-30 while on other campaigns or missions I get steady 60 FPS. My opinion is that it is something related to the scenery near major cities on the coast line since when I zoom in to the cockpit the FPS return to steady 60 FPS and when looking back to the scenery the FPS drops sharply. Until ED don't fix this issue the Georgian Oil Campaign is not flyable for me...:(

I manage Nvidia 3D setting for DCS.exe in Nvidia control panel. What is the objective to use Nvidia inspector? what do I benefit more when using this software over the Nvidia control panel? Thanks

A Fresh install is actually formating the computer and it is simply not an option right now. I tweaked windows 10 by following several guides I found on the net and I will probably wait for ED's next improvement on the graphic engine. Thanks

Prior to the vicious virus attack on my win7 pro, I had a steady FPS of 60. I had no choice but to upgrade to win10 if I wanted to keep all my installed programs and avoid a fresh install after format. after updating Nvidia driver and optimizing win10 for boost performance and gaming:book:, I run DCS 1.5 and for my surprise I got a hit of up to 10-12 FPS loss. after testing different settings (flying the KA-50 quick start mission "free fly around Sukhumi") I tried flying without v-sync and to my surprise(again) I got a boost to 100-75 FPS when my monitor refresh rate is 60....:huh: I had to lower the trees distance to under 10,000 and the visibility range to 'High' from 'Ultra' in win7. so can you guys share your insights after upgrading to win10 and if there is something that I can change/tweak in order to gain better FPS with higher setting? Thanks

I watched your video and yes, it's the same bug. How do we know if it's a reported bug? have anybody seen any comment or reference to this issue?

Running updated DCSW 1.5.2 with latest Nvidia Driver 361.60 When I hover or land the Black Shark on an open field the dust, graphic anomalies dust is in the cockpit..:huh: I also attached my Nvidia 3D settings and in-game Graphic settings. Is it a Bug in version 1.5.2 or something to do with my Nvidia 3D setting? Any recommendations/suggestions regarding optimal #D settings for the new graphic engine? Thanks for the help

I used this mod with DCS 1.2.16 and it gave the terrain an amazing look and feeling.:thumbup: I am really looking forward for Starway to release the modification for the new terrain engine. for the meantime I am using an excellent looking but in alpha phase terrain mod from B3OP. look for it since I am not going to put a link here for obvious reasons:smilewink:

Currently I have 1.5.2 open beta installed with all my modules - is there a way to patch it or convert it to the new stable branch or do I have to install it all again?

seems like a great option and with only one installation of DCS world 1.5 so I save space on my small SSD. can I switch from 'release' version to 'open beta 1.5' ? do i need to deactivate modules before?

yesterday night when practicing few maneuvers with the BS I noticed the same issue as reported here - will check it again tonight... Is this the new sound of the BS in World 1.5? sounds a bit grindy...
