  1. Hi. I've got a switch that activates two outputs at the same time. JOY_BTN1 & JOY_BTN2. How to code it so that when JOY_BTN1 is pressed it ignores JOY_BTN2? Does that make sense? Cheers KS
  2. Hi Guys, The Komodo Simulations VBS ProStart Huey Collective is now ready. Its taken while to get here, but really pleased with the results. Visit the website for more details or feel free to ask any questions here. All the switches are assignable to the correct functions within DCS, it comes omelette with underneath start trigger, 4 toggle switches, 4 Way HAT, Idle release button (dual function to close throttle and activate Idle release) and throttle with working friction adjust. BR Rich
  3. Hi Guys, That image is from a real AW109E Power, but I am designing a set of the 109 controls at the moment for a commercial flight sim. BR Rich
  4. Hey, Good, check the Facebook page and other threads on here, don't want to crash hegykc's thread. BR Rich
  5. Not any more, its starting to reduce as I have minions! Well one and its my dad, he's building all the base units. All orders over the next 2-3 months have their base units 95% ready, so just getting all the grips done now. BR Rich
  6. Its in the museum intermingled around all the helicopters. BR Rich
  7. The museum is open as normal to the public so no reason why you can't get in. BR Rich
  8. Hi Guys, I'm hoping to have it ready in the next 2-3 months if everything goes to plan and works as designed. Yes I'll be at the Flight Sim Show at the Helicopter Museum next month. I'll have the new VBS Icarus Curved Display System there along with as many of the controls in the range as possible. Hoping to run DCS Huey, X-Plane and P3D over the weekend at various times. I'll be setting up on the Thursday so PC Pilot can do a review of all the controls on Friday before the show over the weekend. BR Rich
  9. Hi, I won't be adding extra buttons that aren't on the real controls. But any controls that already have a FTR button will have that connected to the Force Trim System exactly how Sokol1_br suggests. BR Rich
  10. Hi, I am developing a mechanical Force Trim System at the moment. I'm just upgrading the electromagnets to hold the Cyclic in position. Development time is thin and far between at the moment, but I hope to get this out as soon as possible. The system will work in the way that the Force Trim System (FTS) will hold the Cyclic in position. To move the Cyclic you press the Force Trim Release (FTR) and use the cyclic as normal. When you release the FTR the cyclic will stay in that new position. If you then move the cyclic without pressing the FTR it will return to the position you moved it from by spring force. Hope that makes sense. Please feel free to ask any questions. BR Rich
  11. Thanks for the clarification. In that case then both will have analog axis then. BR Rich
  12. Hi, 1. I was under the impression that in DCS this was a pushbutton allocation ('W' on the keyboard) and not an assignable axis. At the moment its just a toggle type switch. I might be wrong tho. 2.When you flip up the large trigger there is a switch that is assigned to the cannon system to make the cannon operative and the large trigger inoperative. If that makes sense and is what you mean. The trigger is now assembled and being tested to ensue it works correctly in DCS. 3. Again I thought the keyboard allocations in DCS are so that a HAT switch is used to control the Shkval. Is it possible to assign an axis to this function within DCS? Its very easy to change this to an analog mini thumb stick if required. BR Rich
  13. Hi Guys, I'll look into this, with what I'm thinking it could be an easy mod for before or after purchase. So if anyone has already bought the Pedals they can easily add the springs in afterwards by undoing 4 bolts. BR Rich
  14. Finally getting somewhere on this now. What I hope to be there production model is due back from the printers in a week or so. The new 'Starter' underneath the collective is on place, engraving is all done and sourced all the correct switches as well. Really pleased with the switches they have a very smooth but solid movement to them. Couple of pics below with a video as soon as its ready. Updated on production as well. I'm now building the base units in batches of 10, so that will clear out just about everything I have orders wise and will put a couple into stock for the collective bases and the pedals. My dad is now working with making all the base units which frees me up to concentrate on the making the grips and will also give me more development time for new projects as well. BR Rich
  15. Hi Eflemmen, The actual grip head is SLS 3D Printed Nylon 12, a very strong printed material. The majority of the other major parts are all aluminium. BR Rich
  16. Hi FlyingHighAU, Thanks for the great review, I will certainly look into your ideas for improving the ProAT Pedals, its great to have such detailed unbiased feedback. BR Rich
  17. Quick update on the Huey collective. Switches have finally arrived, these are in the old head, the new one with the start trigger is still being printed. BR Rich
  18. Thanks FlyingHighAU, means a lot! Nice to see the last 10yrs of development finally getting somewhere. BR Rich
  19. Hi DSPALLASVI, Really sorry if I missed you enquiry, just a quick note that my replies will come from an info@ address and I have had quite a few people have this email go straight to their junk mail box without realising. One thing I always try to do is reply to all enquires in some for or other within 24hrs. I've sent you a PM with details of how best to get in touch. Once again very sorry for missing your enquiry. BR Rich
  20. Hi guys, I'm just getting a new curved display setup at the moment using Simpit Technologies Black Pearl Screen. I will then be getting a full setup sorted in a small corner of the workshop where I will be filming a load of new videos. PC Pilot are also doing a full review of my controls in July. I'm getting there, not enough hours in the day along with a young family and the normal day job, getting orders out the door is hard enough let alone working on development. I'm starting to train my dad up to help ease the load a little. He only wants paying in food and he gets to see lots more of is grand kids! :joystick: BR Rich
  21. Hi Guys, Thanks for the comments, all appreciated. I did experience some delays last year due to a large amount of orders placed close to together. This was something I had never had before and it totally caught me out I admit. I've changed the way I take orders now to make sure the customer knows the delivery time upfront. I would love to be able to take someone on to help, but I just can't afford too. That first step of employing someone else is a massive jump for a small company like Komodo, but I'm getting there. BR Rich
  22. Quick update! New 'Starter Trigger' underneath the collective and with all new switches to match the ones in DCS. BR Rich
  23. Yeah, that might be why I missed it. BR Rich
  24. Hi Guys, Sorry totally missed this thread, thanks for the heads up Chic. We are very close now for both the Huey Cyclic and the KA-50 Cyclic and Collective. I've had a load of rush commercial orders in recently that has taken up my evening and weekend development times. But the KA-50 Cyclic will be here next week. They had a slight problem when printing it so it was delayed. The Huey Collective head has now been engraved, just waiting for the new head box to arrive in the next couple of weeks along with the KA-50 Collective. I don't where this year is disappearing to already, still haven't found 2014 yet either. BR Rich
  25. Hi, I'm selling my HD65 projector. It has less than 200hrs on the lamp (normally last around 3000hrs). Great condition and a great little projector, 720p. I have a second one for sale, but just checking the hours, still low. This one has a crack in the case, but still works perfectly. Drop me a PM if interested or require more details. Cheers Rich
