I'd like to ask about some things that confuse me. If i wanna fly F16 CAP and change F16 flight start time from 33 minutes to 0 minutes, will it screw up the order/flow of things for the rest of the flights? If i finish my mission in 30 minutes and exit, will Liberation app still carry out CAS mission that is set to start in 80 minutes or that CAS (or any flight that start after i'm finished) will never happen? try to right click on liberation_main.exe and run as administrator

Yes i am on VR. I will try the new version ASAP. What i do to make things easier on my PC is playing the mission over lan. I use my server PC and load this mission on it. I also run tacview only on the server as well to gain a bit more performance on gaming PC. Then i connect with my gaming PC to play it and i think it gives me better performance then when i run it in SP. To test this performance difference, i will load heavy ai populated mission, i just need to find one that brings things to a crawl. Maybe you know some mission that is a bit over the top with ai units? Cheers!

Didn't try 2.1.6 yet but man i do love 2.1.5 that i modified to my liking just a bit, like adding me some ai wingmen. Can't remember the last time i had so much fun from start to finish of my flights. Thank you so much for this hard work (live and unpredictable environment), i'm having a blast.

Hi all. Using Rift CV1 i see some clouds only in my left eye. Also when i turn on HMCS on F-16, that HUD is only visible in just one eye too. I have shaders mod for 2.5.6.49314 and my DCS is also still on that version. Also, if i update to 2.5.6.49798 do i need to reinstall shaders mod? Cheers.

I have been downloading DCS entire afternoon and it is stuck on 75985 of 82122 MB. It is like it froze. Since there is no pause option on DCS updater, i can only cancel. If i do that, will everything that downloaded so far be deleted? Thanks.

All my screens are used for different things now... agree, couldnt go back to those even with resolution we have now.

I very much believe it is like you say. I wonted to try it because there's a fresh discussion in Assetto Corsa forum and people reported big FPS boost choosing open vr in render settings instead of native oculus. I am totally ok with how my PC runs Assetto Corsa so i was not bothered to try it there but i sure could use some extra FPS in DCS and thought it might do some magic here... probably not.

I would like to compare the performance with rift between openvr and rift sdk. In UI there is only option to use VR or not. I assume that it automatically uses one of those two according to your hmd. Is there a way to change what DCS uses between openvr and oculus sdk? I use non steam version. Thanks.

Since a year ago i started wearing reading glasses but i have no problem at all reading around the cockpit. For some instruments i must lean forward a bit but i need to do it IRL as well. The hud is perfectly readable in my case even without leaning forward. Try repeating IPD setting setup and get that cross as clear as you can.

I'd guess that's because you use larger FOV on your monitor. Try to adjust the FOV on your monitor to correspond to what you see in VR when looking straight and compare again.

Yes, i went to the optician and he measured my IPD in 30 sec. To do this stereo.lua change, you need to know your IPD. If you have IPD 64 than the default value is ok. Mine is 66 and i changed default value from 0.32 to 0.33 both + and - values (left and right).

I have learned to move my head a lot more than IRL because you need to keep the objects of interest in the center of your fov. Try moving your head more instead of glancing with your eyes. BTW i also changed that stereo.lua value to fit my ipd and i think things look better so cheers for that tip.

I had 980 and when i paid for a new 1080ti on the webshop, i felt really bad... so much money for a card. That feeling went away when i saw FPS rise even double in some cases. I would buy it again.

This mission is awesome. Just one mission and i'm set to host for a group of friends for as long as we wont. No reloading and thinking what next. All fun and no trouble from now on. I just came back to DCS after a long time and this kind of dynamic coop is a big revelation for me. Thank You so very much.

In my case DK2 was adequate for racing sims but not quite there for DCS. There wasnt VR zoom present when i tried it with DK2 so you might be able to get more out of it now than i did. I think you will be able to run it with 580 but most if not all gfx settings will have to be on low. When your fps drop or stutter happens in VR, it will not only make your gaming unpleasant but it will also make you physically ill/sick. One more big difference for me betewwn dk2 and cv1 is ASW. It is mostly ON in DCS, giving you 45 fps with cv1 and stuff seem smooth. But DK2 is 75hz and ASW will produce only 37.5 FPS and the experience is not as smooth as it is with 45 FPS. I was not happy how DCS worked and looked with DK2 and since the immersion of it spoiled the monitor gaming for me, i only raced and didnt fly at all until i bought CV1.

I have previously converted campaigns for multiplayer. It is easy to do by any one who knows how to make missions in mission editor. I am not aware if this is allowed for paid campaign. My guess is yes, because it wouldn't run on a computer without activation key installed.
