  1. Could it be that your brake pedal axes are reversed in the DCS controller setup?
  2. Same here! Is there a donate button in the OXRTK app? I need to buy the guy a beer!
  3. @frenzon, thanks for making fingers! It works really great! How can I get or make copies of your rings?
  4. Ok! Thanks for the input. What size adjustable resistors did you use?
  5. @propeler This looks like a cool project! I will try to copy your efforts, but I have some trouble understanding your wiring? I took the liberty of making a few notes on your diagram. Should green go to green, and grey to grey, like in your drawing? If so, how do you know which load cell that see the load? Or should the wires go crossed, like I have drawn? I mean, the loadcells should be able to differentiate between which one is being pressed? Note that you may very well be correct here, but I just can’t get it to work in my head Also, what’s the deal with the 5V and GND? The magenta wires shouldn’t connect, am I right? I am most grateful for any help you can provide!
  6. That didn’t matter, but well spotted. No, but it turned out I was being stupid. I was so sure I deleted the SK60 mod folder from the DCS/Mods/Aircraft folder…but it turns out I didn’t..! Now it works with the SK60 mod folder in the saved games folder routing… Thanks for the help everybody!
  7. Tried that, got the same error... C:\Users\goblin\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft\DCS-SK60-Mod
  8. I can't install this mod... Granted, it's my first unofficial mod, so I'm probably doing something stupid..? First of all, I have no mods folder in my saved games folder. C:\Users\goblin\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta If I put the DCS-SK60-Mod folder here D:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft I get an error message when starting DCS about unauthorized mod and the folder got deleted. Is there something I need to do to get DCS to accept this mod?
  9. I have never installed a mod before… Never felt like I needed one, until now I had mine set to the DCS root. So, move the entire SK60B folder into the …/saved games/…/aircraft/ folder, or? I tried looking at the readme file, but there was just a link under ”Installation”. Followed the link, but found no infor pertaining the installation there either…
  10. How do one install this mod? Tried using OVGME, and files got transferred, but still no SK60 in DCS…
  11. The Viggen is normally flown in SPAK mode. As mentioned it is a basic stabilization mode.
  12. It’s a teaser. I think it’s good to know that they are working on something even if they don’t spill all their beans at once.
  13. The SFI (pilots manual) for the AJS37 says that the airbrake can be opened partially by letting go of the airbrake switch, after it has been held backwards. The DCS version seems to be opening fully and won’t stop when the button airbrake out is released. Furthermore, according to the SFI, the airbrake should retract automatically when landinggear is selected down. With gear down, the airbrakes only opens momentarily, as the switch is held backwards, and autoretracts when the switch is released. This doesn’t seem to be the case in the module… Am I doing something wrong or is this a known bug?
  14. Hi! No list. But all you need is a steering damper, as mentioned elswehere in the thread, and a longer M5 screw to attach the damper body to the pedal swing arm. The triangular bracket is made from stock aluminium L beam.
  15. I’m not talking about any other module or third party. I just think it would be cool to have haptic feedback support directly in DCS, just like force feedback. They mostly vibrate. But the structure that the bass shakers are attached to can generate a lot of noise from vibration and resonance. It depends on your setup.
  16. Japp! Tjena! But I live in Norway, so that’s from where I ordered the Aero.
  17. I read @Brainfreeze’s first post in this thread and felt like I’ve found my long lost brother… I had the exact same experience. I never thought fit would be an issue when I saw that highly configurable strap setup. The Oculus CV1, RiftS and Reverb G2 all fit me just fine. The Aero did not. It was really uncomfortable. Having used it for over a week now, I have found a setting that works. I contemplated returning the Aero, but having used if for several days I tried going back to the G2, and…no. The G2 was incredibly comfortable compared to the Aero, but that’s it. I’ve fallen in love with the visuals of the Aero and the increase in performance. I thought doing without motion reprojection would be a problem, but it’s not. I also reacted to the distortions, but again, going back to the G2 revealed that this headset has distortions too, I just had learned to cope. Now I’ve learned to cope with the distortions in the Aero as well. I also have just one base station. I have mounted in the ceiling, above and maybe 1m in front of me. This position seems to work just fine. At least for sitting in that spot, which I do, when flightsimming.
  18. Are you interested in just the brake pedal mod, or the swing arm connections as well? I don’t have a parts list, but I sourced all the ball joints on ebay.
  19. That’s the point. This is the only way I know of, to get haptic feedback. Would be nice to have native feedback support in DCS, just like for FFB joysticks. Maybe that would enable better control over the feedback signals and reduce latency.
  20. I agree! Using Simshaker with DCS really adds to the immersion! I can’t say I notice much latency, but having direct feeback from DCS would be awesome!
  21. I may have spoken too soon… Now you can cancel the ATT and HÖJD by selecting the lower mode. I.e. if ATT and HÖJD is engaged, you can press ATT to cancel HÖJD, or you can press SPAK to cancel both ATT and HÖJD. This is correct behaviour. However, you can also cancel SPAK, ATT and HÖJD by selecting the respective mode. I.e. you can cancel HÖJD by pressing HÖJD again. Same with ATT. And, you can also cancel SPAK by pressing SPAK. According to the SFI (The aircraft operating manual) SPAK can only be cancelled by pressing SNURK on the stick, or by pulling the circuit breaker. But at least it is now possible to use the Styrautomat as intended, even if there are some extra features
  22. Awesome update! Am I hearing an engine sound loop error? Seems like the engine sound pulsates.
  23. Fixed in todays update! And what an update..!! Well done Heatblur.
  24. There’s not supposed to be a notch… Open it up and check if maybe the screws holding the cam needs tightening. You could also try swapping the cams to see if it maybe is a flaw on the surface of the cam.
