If you've deleted page 3 in the kneeboard folder then it won't work. After I deleted mine, it stopped working. If you want to avoid the crash from the kneeboard then bind the "jump to page x" keybind. I think trap sheet is 6 or 7.

It resets itself. Once you enter the groove it's a new sheet.

No, read the NATOPS manual. Main Flaps controlled by the handle have two positions either up or down. The only other flaps you have are manoeuvre flaps (10deg) which, if sweep is in auto, operate automatically anyway. Can be overwritten if using manual sweep and controlled by DLC Aft/forward.

I don't think the issue is completely down to poor hardware using the Tomcat. There are people with good systems affected. Loading times has changed for ALL aircraft I've tried. If it was down to the Tomcat then I shouldn't have this.Once finally loaded, game performance is the same for all aircraft. Tomcat isn't heavier. ALL AIRCRAFT TAKE FOREVER TO LOAD. Last time I played without issue was January, since then every patch has made performance worse. I believe its partially a patch issue and something broken on ED side.

Strange. Once I'm in the Tomcat, performance for me is the same as any other aircraft. I've noticed watching MSI afterburner while loading the mission, CPU usage never goes above 30% and GPU usage didn't go above 5%.

I don't believe the Tomcat is the only reason for these load times. I'm talking load times, not texture pop in. These load times happen no matter what aircraft I choose. There must be something wrong on ED side. For example, the black screen on the briefing screen is a new thing. Load times like this were never an issue a few months ago.

I haven't been able to get into MP due to load times. Although I'm able to get to the slot select perfectly fine. Selecting an aircraft results in huge load times (game frozen) and then disconnect. A few patches ago I was able to play MP fine, with smooth game play and none of these crazy load times I don't think the issue is down to the Tomcat only. There must be a problem on ED side as my loading times are very long - longer than normal - no matter what aircraft I try.

But you said loading times haven't changed. I have a 970 and once in game I get smooth 60fps. The issue is load times are upwards of 5mins which I never had months ago.

Known bug. You can get around it by deleting the 3rd page in the kneeboard folder of the F14.

Lol,:megalol: these posts make me laugh. I would be extremely happy to have those times. Myself, and others in this thread are experiencing 5-10min load screens FOR EMPTY MISSIONS. While loading the mission, the game isn't using ALL of my RAM, even after an eternity I'm sitting in the pilot seat and its still not using it all. Yea, something has gone wrong on ED's side I'm not putting this solely on HB. Never had load times like this a few weeks ago.

The Pilot AI is very basic and cannot fight, only headings, altitudes etc..

MP Very long times, long enough to get "Connection Timed out" Mission size doesn't make a difference. Edit - I'm able to get to slot select, but selecting F-14 results in above. SP Very long load times but eventually can get into the jet. i5 4690k GTX 970 16GB RAM

I've never had these load times before or with other aircraft. I just loaded into a "heavy" SP mission with multiple aircraft slots. When I select F-14, game freezes and i get very long load times. What I don't understand is my RAM usage loading the mission was ~11-12GB of 16GB. Now sitting in the pilot seat of the F-14 my RAM usage is only 14GB. If my RAM isn't being used 100% why am I getting these load times? I'm using 16gb RAM , GTX 970

Doesn't make any difference, my page file is over 50gb and I still get timed out. I've never had this issue before. I can load into the server fine, look around in free cam with smooth performance. The second I select F-14, very long load times resulting in connection lost. I get long load times/freezes in Single player too, most of the time resulting in me closing the game. I don't get this in OTHER aircraft, only the F-14
