I have seen some orbs or balls of light in the air and floating near the ground. They make me think more of energy than of light specifically though. Dark red ect.. not a bright light usually. I told some friends ect.. but no one is that interested. I just don't want to see one of these things when I am up in the air.

dual core/dual cpu The quickest way to check it just to open task manager and go the performance tab. Do you have one CPU history block or 2?

bat files Right click on your lock 1.02 shortcut, hit find target. The batch file should be under here as long as you specified a different installation directory for FC.

screens Nate, I had noticed something did not seem quite right and you pinpointed it. We were both looking for an advantage to having widescreen, but there really isn't any practical advantage. Glad Caretaker was able to explain why it looks like that. I will still be sticking to 1920x1200 though :)

Nate, your 1920X1200 shot is like my first one. For that shot I hit shift / to zoom out. It was not fully zoomed out, I used / to zoom out further, and I got the pic you see in the second shot. The cockpit/controls are being adjusted for the new ratio though. Look how wide and distorted the canopy is at 1920X1200 with a 1.33 ratio.

spyware AVG free virus scan is what I use now, it found viruses that Mcaffee didn't.. just an option for you. Also spybot search and destroy is a good antispyware program. We have thrown a lot of information at you, but a logical progression might be 1. check for spyware 2. run another virus scan to get a "second opinion" 3. run system file check 4. reinstall sp2 Again, just got to watch the time, sometimes it is easier to reinstall windows. I would really want to be sure there were no viruses/trojans present first though.

issues Good idea on keeping if off the network/cable modem at first. I actually install Sygate firewall and AVG antivirus before I get on the internet after an install. Something else you can do before a format. (taken from askleo.com, easier than me typing it) system file checker, press Start, Run, and then type in SFC followed by its options. The most common usage of SFC is this: SFC /scannow This causes SFC to scan your system immediately. SFC can take a few minutes to run. As I said above, have your installation CD or equivalent available in case SFC needs to replace a damaged file. While it's not documented anywhere, if SFC replaces any system files, I'd reboot. I just like to make absolutely certain that the file replacement actually takes effect. You might want to do this first and then reinstall/install sp2. Just see how your time goes. A clean format and program installation might take 1.5 hours or so. If you can do a sfc check and get it going, might be 15-20 minutes.

Also, if you can, go to control panel , administrative tools. Go to event viewer and save a copy of your app event log and sys event log to your desktop. Please send me those via e-mail and let me look at them.

Ok, now I am seeing some related posts. THey say to copy the entire folder of the older version I want to save. Then run it and the new one from the lockon batch files. Going to try it now.

I have upgraded to v1.11 but I have noticed that not all training works with this version. Can I install the 1.1 and 1.11 version on the same computer? I could unistall 1.11 and use 1.1 for awhile, but I would like to have both available. THanks, Slatr

screen resolutions I am playing at 1920 X 1200 on a Dell 2405 24 inch LCD. Works well so far.
