  1. Thank you for the update and good luck! I really like the project, the C-101 is awesome!

    RCAF Skins 2.0...

    Amazing work, Jocko
  3. Thanks for the update, fingers crossed! The module is very very interesting already and I can't wait for the next update.
  4. I believe the difference was much bigger - 22mph as tested on Spitfire K5054. It has been tested to determine, which areas were having significant influence on the overall drag and which areas they could get away with cheaper regular rivets in the production series of the type. Not that it matters, and sorry for OT. Great thread. No matter what flight models the ED will come up with, there will be still people complaining. :D Perhaps an official set of performance graphs / dog houses would be beneficial.

    Beautiful work!
  6. Any more, please?
  7. Oh, apologies, fixed now. Also, this mission for C-101 looks fun: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1304241/
  8. Hello, yes, I believe that's because it's still beta, the training and campaign will come later, hopefully. In the meantime, have a look here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=141613 and here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=137880 for some training contents, the Academy is very good and so are uboat's missions. The missing blue highlight is a minor bug (already reported), not something wrong with your installation. I also bought it in the recent sale and I LOVE IT! Great module.
  9. Superb module, I wish I got it earlier.
  10. Same here, msalama, I love it! I found the answer right on the module's page: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/mig15bis/ Excellent. I just blew 2 cockpit lights when practicing cold starts in pitch dark. The level of detail is incredible - rheostats fully CW for too long and bang, lights off. I am yet to figure out what the real life blind landing procedures were back in the 50s. I guess we'll have to wait for the full manual and for the NDBs to work correctly.
  11. My thoughts exactly  Have you got any info regarding automatic air brakes, rear view mirror and ASP-3NM by any chance? When exactly they were implemented etc? As I said before, I am not asking for these to be modeled necessaruily, I am happy with the module as it is, pretty awesome :joystick: I just wonder which version exactly have we got in the sim. My guess was early variant of MiG-15bis... Also, can anyone confirm that OSP-48 (blind landing equipment) is installed? I am aware of the NDB possibilities and ARK-5, the RV-2 is also installed and so is the MRP-48. I am not sure though if that makes our MiG an all-weather fighter and if blind landings are possible at all.
  12. Yes, this is not uncommon for Russian designs (and others, too), many VVS WWII planes used the same philosophy - gauge only displayed partial fuel contents. Yes she burns that fuel quickly... :pilotfly: The 700l gauge is, in my opinion, from different type and was possibly fitted for restoration purposes. I noticed some labels are in English ans some in Polish.
  13. The fuel gauge is correct. MiG-15 has got capacity of 1410 litres (2*80l in the aft fuselage and 1250 in the main (fwd) fuel tank). The gauge only displays up to 1050l. There is also a light indicating last 300l of fuel remaining.
  14. Yes, Sirena-2 RWR - I might be wrong, but it became standard equipment for all production a/c at some point in 1951 or 1952. I also forgot the mirror in the above list. The fighter was in constant development and I am just curious which version exactly have we got in our hands. I am perfectly happy with the module as it is  My "wish" is for someone from BST (or anyone else) to clarify the development and perhaps add the dates of the changes in equipment if possible at all.
  15. Also, not really a wish, just a few questions regarding specific version of the aircraft portrayed in the sim, and what an excellent module it is... The plane we have has got the older attitude indicator (later replaced by AGD with blue / brown background). I remember seeing the latter on some older WIP pictures. When was this introduced exactly, please? Same for automatic air-brake, Sirena radar and ASP-3NM gunsight. Any MiG-15 experts out there? By the looks of it what we've got is the early version of the bis, or am I wrong? Thank you very much.
  16. Or Czechoslovak MiG-15SB: Very specific I know and 20 years after Korea war ;)
  17. Just to clarify that the aircraft on the above picture is a MiG-15bis SB, licence made by Aero in Czechoslovakia. The 'SB' stands for 'fighter bomber' in Czech and was only introduced in late 1960s / early 1970s (iirc) as a further improvement of the bis version. The armament is as follows: 4X SR-55 rocket pods with ten rocket each on the ground. 4x LR-130 (larger rockets on the ground) 2x OFAB-100
