Alright. CPU temp reading is not correct becouse it cannot be lower than ambient. However, with such low ambient temp I'm sure you can overclock it without much extra cooling. Before you start: Turn off Turbo Core Disable automatic overclocking if you have that Try to unlock the extra CPU cores if possible. Try to go into the BIOS or UEFI and increase the CPU multiplier a notch or two. Go and play some games or start a stress test. If it works fine then you can go back and increase multiplier even more. Keep doing that untill you start getting bluescreens or other strange behavior, then back down to the last setting that worked. That should get you a moderate overclock without increasing power consumption and heat too much.

Could also be that the missile is too far from the launching platform so the datalink cannot communicate. Thats just a guess. :smartass:

R-77 probably has that capability in real life as has built in datalink to recive command updates from the launching platform. I think the R-27R/ER can do that too, but the T/ET does not have datalink.

Most important of all: What cooling solution do you have in the CPU? What are your ambient temps and CPU temps at stock clock? Your goal should be easy to achive and will give you a small FPS gain. Maybe 2-4FPS Average. I don't have the FX myself. I have the old PhenomIIX6 1100T clocked to 4Ghz. Been running it for years like that and it is still going strong. As for the overclocking itself, try to google for articles covering overclocking. Keywords that could be useful for searching: Piledriver, bulldozer, overclock, guide

Russian doctrine is to fire two missiles at the same target. By using two different seekers at the same time, they make it harder for the target to defend itself.

It's not a bad missile once you learn it's strong and weak points. Most importantly, it's semi active. I take it you already know that?

Price is very justified with current content and AFM has been promised for a few more aircrafts so it's a great deal IMHO.

Sure. Look for servers with the word aerobatic in the name! Some servers combine this and set certain areas on the map as no engagement zones.

Yes, I can understand if people feel that way, and you are certainly not the only one. Me, I had a feeling there would be a summer sale when I bought it. It's not the first time ED has a sale. Next time, maybe I will wait but there is a few modules that excites me enough for me to buy them as soon as they are released.

Nice vid, but please write in the youtube title that it is a DCS movie so people don't have to click it thinking they are going to see a real life video. I hate when search results come up and it's mixed with real life and DCS movies.

I see it this way: I bought it for full price to support the devs so that DCS can evolve into everything that we wish for.
