  1. @jojoWas this change documented anywhere at all? Haven't seen info on it yet... I'll like to update my Mirage doc if that's the case.
  2. It should be coolie hat DOWN. The logic changed while I was writing the initial draft (before Coolie Hat UP would toggle between HUD SOI and HMCS SOI), and while I thought I had changed it everywhere I missed that one on the top of page 211. I'll have it fixed tonight. Sorry.
  3. Private Messages or the forum boards.
  4. @CBStuCare to elaborate? If I made a mistake, I'll gladly fix it.
  5. @BIGNEWYAn even better solution would be to make these pdfs available in-game while you are flying... kneeboard-style. Ssomething like what ED developed for the P-51 Mustang when presing ESC. The official manuals are great. I still open up the Mi-8 manual from time to time.
  6. Guys, let's keep things chill in here, please.
  7. @C3PO Wow, that looks great! You might have to reprint it eventually as I update the Harrier guide with the latest features once they're ironed out by RAZBAM... but that's not for another few months anyhow.
  8. I have the exact same edition at home. You're a man of taste!
  9. A simulated auto-level for WWII fighters does not make sense to me. I understand such a need for helicopters where there is an actual use for it (multiple crew members and gunners). Auto-rudder or takeoff-assist aims to help players that do not have the required hardware (rudder pedals) to compensate for torque, which is understandable. However, for the specific feature of auto-level... just trim the aircraft! That's what those tabs are for. There is a difference between developing features for hardware or simulation limitations and developing features that play the game fo
  10. I'm afraid not, unfortunately. The best I can do for now is put revision dates.
  11. A new overhauled version of the P-51 Mustang guide is now available! See first post.
  12. A new overhauled version of the Spitfire guide is now available! See first post.
  13. Huey guide has been completely overhauled on January 20th. Enjoy!
  14. Tough to know. I think he meant a training campaign like the L-39 Kursant campaign or the Maple Flag stuff for the A-10. That's the answer that would make the most sense to me, since depriving players of the classic in-cockpit tutorial/training missions is pretty much akin to the devs shooting themselves in the foot.
  15. A new overhauled version of the Huey guide is now available! See first post.
  16. I think there are much more pressing matters to attend to on the DCS WW2 front than a trainer... especially since the environment we fly in is so barebones. IMHO we need stuff to shoot down / attack first.
  17. Agreed. The Mosquito needs fuzes appropriate for its mission type.
  18. Doesn't look like a typo; the switch is set just like in the RL flight manual and ED manual.
  19. No, it's always been there since as long as I can remember. I don't get FPS drops with Amraams or with HVAR rockets.
  20. In the Viggen, I've noticed that there is a significant framerate drop/stutter when launching all rockets at once. If I go by smaller salvos, the framerate drop is manageable (not that bad), but a full salvo with 4 pods brings you in the 10 FPS range when rockets are fired. I have a pretty beefy setup (64 gb RAM, Nvidia RTX2070), and I think it should be looked at.
  21. I appreciate the kind words!
  22. Wondering if an english cockpit version will be available.
  23. Hi, At the moment, the real life UH1 manual and the ED UH1 manual both state that the UHF radio procedure should set the SQUELCH DISABLE switch to OFF. It kind of makes sense since you don't want to keep having static noise in the background. However, when you set SQUELCH DISABLE to OFF, you hear all the static noise in the background. Shouldn't the static sound logic be reversed? In DCS, static noise is filtered if you set SQUELCH DISABLE to ON. The SQUELCH DISABLE switch is also set to ON both for in-air spawns and using anto-start procedures.
