Seems like not advancing is a regular issue. I have stable release v 2.5.6. I've run a repair. Mission 9 won't advance. After I destroy all the armor/infantry from the very first call for assistance, Zulu-5 says he's going to CCP, but he never moves. I looked at the mission file with the ME, and Zulu-5 is in a "Hold"; that may be the issue as I heard "holds" were broken by a patch, but thought that v 2.5.6 fixed them. Anyway, the mission won't advance, and I don't know what to change using the ME, so I'm stuck.

Yup,solved it for me. Nice. FYI, I use Microsoft Security Essentials as my AV.

A few days ago, I saw a thread that contained a listing of must have downloads. One was a mod to reduce blurry terrain. I cannot find this thread anywhere. If someone knows, can you include a link? Thanks, James

Anyone else notice that the sound of the other A/C's afterburners are way to loud? This issue occurs when airborne and an A/C that has burners lights them within about 3-4 miles of your A10. When they do, you get this huge rumble sound, almost as if your A10 just shot a friggin howitzer or something; it's way too loud. My assumption is that when flying the A10, canopy closed of course, and an A/C with burners lights them, you wouldn't hear a darn thing unless you're within a couple 100 yards or so. This happens to me a lot during the campaign when there are friendly F15, F16, F/A-18s in the area. Anyone else notice this? James

In the campaigns, I discovered that you can actually task the other flights to perform their role (SEAD, CAS, CAP, etc). However, I'm not really sure how to do it. For example, is it necessary to broadcast the SPI first? Can someone explain how I would go about tasking a SEAD flight onto the TGT waypoint, prior to my entry? Thanks, James

Folks: I now have an SSD drive; hoping it helps with stutters. Is there an easy way to get DCS A10C onto the SSD, or do I just have to perform a fresh install?? Thanks, James

By "close to them" do you mean I need to fly within a 500 ft radius or something? Thanks, James

Two issues: 1. How do I communicate with the convoy Mule? I try to use Radio "Other" but there's nothing there. I have no idea whether to use FM, AM, or UHF. 2. After contacting the ground-based JTAC, I do what he asks and take out the Hostiles at the 1st waypoint. The, I keep trying both JTACs and I just never get another tasking. I waited about 20 mins or so before giving up. Thnx, James
