  1. I salute and raise my glass in honour
  2. Will test that, thought I tried that but I was quite tired yesterday EDIT: SSS was the cause thank You very much @speed-of-heat
  3. Hi everyone, Just want to see if anyone else noticed a strange behavior of shadows on the ground after 2.9? It seems as if they change with the movement of my head instead of aligning with the sun if You understand what I mean. I saw a video of it on YT but can't seem to find it again. It doesn't matter what settings I use for in-game graphics. Other than that I find 2.9 extremely good. Reverb G2 Rev2, Nvidia RTX 4080, Driver 537.13
  4. It's my understanding that if You don't already have the lighthouse environment not to buy the sim edition. You need the controllers to access menus unlike the varjo aero that has a menu and navigation button on the headset
  5. It will require base stations though if I understood correctly which will be a cost increase. But I really look forward to this.
  6. I have edited the file in IL-2 but it will not recognise virtual axis. It will recognise a real axis with this method but not a virtual one.
  7. Thank you very much. I missed this step earlier, not reading carefully and it works like a charm in DCS In IL-2 however I cant get it to work for some reason.
  8. The axis shows in Joy Tester Everything looks OK as per pictures below but I still can't get i t to work
  9. I have it set up that way but it will notwork.
  10. Hi fellow simmers, I have a problem that I can't find a solution to and I have watched all YT videos and browsed every forum to find the answer. How do I configure the encoders on the VPC #2 panel as virtual axis? In every way I have tried DCS dont see the virtual axis created and the frustration is rising
  11. Hi everyone, Just want to give my view on my new simulator seat that I bought to replace my home built "wooden wonder" after many years of use. I was impressed with the images and initial reviews of the NLR Boeing military edition that I could find and decided to order one. Since I live in Sweden both initial price and shipping cost cannot be called cheap in any way however I was betting on the quality matching cost. I will not make a long assembly review since there is those to be found on YouTube. The package is LARGE and HEAVY though so it's definitely a two man job to haul it to where the build will take place. The manual is excellent, the quality and finish equally great so I was not disappointed at all with this. Assembly takes about 4 hours and then be prepared to fiddle for a couple of days in order to find the best location for Your accessories. It is NOT made for changing mounting places very often, measure twice mount once! That is my recommendation The assembled seat is sturdy, comfortable (I'm 175 cm above sea level) and the adjustment possibilities are great, at least for my accessories. Two thing that is slightly negative are: In order to get the VPC CM2 base and handle with a 200mm extension to fit I had to fabricate an adapter and drill some holes in the one that came with the seat to mount it. It works great but requires some tools and time. In order to mount the MFG pedals I had to drill holes in the pedal-plate since the mounting holes existing did not fit. All in all for me two minor inconveniences. I highly recommend this seat, both for quality, adjustment possibilities and comfort. https://nextlevelracing.com/products/boeing-combat-flight-simulator/
  12. Perhaps You forgot to delete the D3DCompiler_47.dll that gets reinstalled every time in DCS after a update? If this is present the global installation of OpenXR through OpenComposite will fail with DCS.
